  13. I got all 6 for the AP and factory rear from MALTECH and the clutch line also, and it made a massive difference..... $500 for the lot!!!
  14. I wasnt saying the whites car was not illegal now, just that a few years ago when we were running it was pretty much open slather, and made the cheaper cars easily modded to keep up with the hi po cars... 993 TT etc etc... now? its just bring thy cheque book and win... sad
  15. buy one from wrxhoon in the group buys....
  16. it is a manual one, as the electric ones have not been too reliable in testing (water) it has a handbrake type button that will lock it at any % of opening.... so basically mum and dad friendly with say 50-60% closed.... drive away and open it up or full shut down at idle only and its a stocker.... once it is all set up more pics, and will do a power run also....Jim thinks there will be a gain to be had, as there will be less restriction, so now I can run less boost, and more timing to get the same result....or better
  17. yep agree with that......
  18. yep all the gaskets are of a reusable nature... i.e. they are a hard rubber type and seem designed to come on and off numerous times with no problem, just be careful of the cam half round covers, they were siliconed in at the end (back) of the engine but did not need re sealing.... paint used was from supercheap on special $15.99
  19. Yep its JUN BL very high quality korean made gear, and seems to hold up to the punishment better than some.... (Mark has had these boxes on cars for a few years with few complaints...) right now the car sounds absolutely fantastic on song!!! it is just worth the rev!!! point of note there is a cat system going in, it just has to be designed a little bit to fit and work.... also, there is an apexi butterfly valve going in, basically in the centre of the X JUN crossover.... that way it still keeps that twin sound has balance characteristics and can be shut up at a moments notice for running at home, and any unwanted attention..... this work will be completed thisarvo.... also uncle mark's S15 is engine-less right now, but will be back soon!!! more pics to follow once the finishing touches are complete... Marko its 63mm thin wall stainless
  20. oh and for anyone of interest..... exhaust is progressing nicely! just have a few finishing touches to be had! all done by uncle mark of exhaust technology! http://www.exhausttechnology.com
  21. ahhh ok.... mech knowledge is ok, just a hoist would be nice, but I could do it all here as I have now got a nice workshop at home (in adelaide) as for the boots.... steering is spilt for sure..... and CVs some grease has come out of a hole somewhere!!!! no idea, cant see it... but yes they are needing some work! will look at getting a shop to see to them if they are that much of a bitch! thanks
