after driving to and from melbourne just before NYE i encountered a massive amount of cops, sitting in little towns, anywhere with a speed difference, and on the general highway sitting in the darkness too...... slow down and stay safe people its not worth speeding to get there a small amount of time quicker!

i have a mate that is a salesman at an Audi dealer in sydney, he didnt say anything when i was doing ridiculous speeds in an audi tt recently so ill ask him about test driving an R8 if you wish...

get a GSF250V ive got a locally delivered, 2000 model, with variable valve timing, looks good, goes very well, and people dont think its a 250... love it

i might make an appearance tomorrow night if some others go, depends if my mate gets his puncture fixed and if the weather is ok too

Ive got a 2000 Suzuki GSF 250V, its quick, reliable, got it at a good price, people look at it and sware its not a 250 because its bigger than other pansy 250s, revs to 16k and its got 10k variable valve timing which makes the top end much better.. personally id stay away from CBRs even if they are recently plated because most of them are imported + rebuilt after having the life thrashed out of them for years! A couple of my mates have Ducati 620 Monsters... learner legal due to the throttle restrictor.. thats an outlay of 10k + for your first roadbike if you want to depart with that kind of coin...

As mentioned try and look for an A3 1.8t, there might possibly be a 1.8t Quattro A4 in that price range too, a chip + simple mods and youll be happy with the speed, hopefully she will like the luxury

its harsh but i think if its used properly and not power tripped by the police then it might be a sucess... although i dont know if id be buying a local car when a new model is so close, the new model is almost a complete redesign although with some short cuts taken on design and using similar underpinnings to the current model... it may look all flash and euro with xennons, pull handles, and styling.... but its a ba below all that...
