    Any SAU NSW Financial Members will get championship points for entering this Texi. See the Annual Points Championship in the SAU NSW Members area. For those of you that aren't dues paying members what are you waiting for? Discounts on events, member discounts with vendors, annual points championship and of course the SAU Members forum where we sit around talking about nothing.

    Unfortunately when they upgraded Eastern Creek that was the design to have three track layouts North, South & GP. So now getting in on the GP is even tougher and still very expensive. We're going to try to do more stuff with HSV and possibly other clubs so that we get the motorsport enthusiasts even more opportunities.

    Hey folks, here's a cool opportunity. I've been contacted by the HSV club about their up-coming Eastern Creek day and they've extended an invitation for our club to come "Invade" their event. Brett in their club actually drives a Skyline so you'd be in good company. He also says there is a good mix of cars that come out for these days.     Wouldn't be surprised if the old super taxi's knock a few out this round but it means more track skidz for those that do come along. Tape the race and come out then go home and watch it - winnar! Also, the execs have also been working on a new club point score so this event will be the first to get you points in our fun club point score. More info on this coming out VERY soon.

    I've been watching for S13's and 180's for my P-plate son for a while. Not many out there and yes, a few $k more and needing work. They are just getting older now. We went to look at a couple of preludes too around $5k and they needed work as well. I'd strongly suggest that you budget an extra $1k when looking at older used cars just to take care of odds and ends that will need to be sorted. Good luck with the search though.

    Thanks for the interest but when we did this we actually only got a few takers. Just wasn't enough interest to make it a club thing. Funny because we ask people what they want and karting comes up from time to time but we ended up with like 3 extra spots out of the 10 that we ended up giving away. Also, this is the archive as Owen said and not many will come in here (me for one usually).

    Now come on Josh, if you stacked your car you might not want to be named and shamed. Glad that the few midnight purple 33 GTR's I know are safe and sound. Feel bad for the owner and despite all of our speculation we don't know the particulars of the incident. So let's not go all "A Current Affair" on this poor soul. No doubt he's mourning his loss. My curiosity has me coming back into this thread too, but I do think everyone is entitled to some privacy if they want it.

    So do you have a skyline or an Eclipse? I owned an Eagle Talon TSi when I was in the US (same as eclipse). Was a great little car.

    Don't know if you are a costco member but a while back they had these fantastic stainless boxes and drawers for unbeatable prices. I'm kind of looking now cause I do need more space to properly store my tools. Will be going soon so I'll let you know if they have 'em.
