  7. Yes im sure that all of the posters in this thread have never broken a law in their lives. I suppose threads like are just a part of life as are news based shows making a fuss about "the menace on our streets: endangering our children and raping our pets" Im in the "ignore it and it will go away" boat im afraid.
  8. Will be there. I gotta see you skull down a Dan Brady

  10. Id suggest that if anyone knows the "yet to be discovered" places they list asap and make 11ty billion dollars ala fortescue metals. You could always try HR for the big ones like BHP and Rio tinto. Its kind of hard to say where you should start looking if you wont say what your are doing or interested in. There are heaps of little places that sub contract for the big companies like above. ESS (food and domestic services), Ausdrill (ahh drilling u might have guessed), ottoco (tyre fitters)... the list is near endless.
  11. Damn, dont watch 60 mins as its worse than today tonight now but i think they have blown it out of proportion. True the mining companies are pretty desparate for workers but they would want someone with some experience at least. Diesel mechanics, welders and Electricians in particular are in pretty high demand 120k+ but im not sure what the policy is on people who have never really worked in the industry or anything related eg just out of school or something else unrelated. Of my close group of friends, 10 odd ppl i have known for years, 5 are working for mining companies 3 of those based up north/ down south. Though they are from teh traditional disciplines. Archeologist, geologist, electrician, environmental management. And i suppose you could inlude 1 more if you count GIS systems. From this you might guess that a good percentage of WA works in resources So what do you do if you dont mind my asking?
  12. Kewl, you will be able to grow a beard soon at this rate.

nahh cant do the NOR stuff. has to be SOR and not past south st. Free standing would be ideal. Good tip though. buying area for shaun Im kinda holding out for a while to see if the default rate increases and i can get a bargain some place. Prolly get a dump on a big block so i can mess with it. Im pretty keen on girders and the consequent wall destryoing they can provide. Problem is id blow 50k on a kitchen pretty easy

Hmm as long as its not a wheel or something i could see the humor. I had the same sense of humor with my c210, i look back more kindly on that then i did at the time though. It has been a while indeed. Good pick on the beetle i love those little things though you are getting dangerously close to being part of our arch nemises the WRX crowd ;P Realestate is indeed the place to be right now maybe you could find me something thats under 400k and not a 2x1 tin shed in kalgoorlie
  17. Yer wasnt bad it hought they did a good job by not really showing you "everything" (no full screen shots of robots walking about) which lets the audience use their imagination a bit. Not really what id expect from Bay at all. I did however crack up when all of a sudden the ac-130 appears out of nowhere in Qatar, us has like 12 of those, i think the chances of one being in the area would be minimal. yes im one of those technocrats. all in all much better than i expected but dont think it deserved its M rating.
  18. damn skippy, and this one takes the cake. I think im half as much as dumd as i was unbefore i red this
  19. Im not sure that places like that do sales. Myer and stuff might but why would an auto store do it when there is constant demand all year round? though i could be wrong.
