  1. A Skyline is a lot diff at the front than a S13 having a double wishbone front susp setup. There is also a good chance that you've also bent a control arm. Take it to a more specialist suspension place so they can measure everything up then get the alignment done.
  2. ohhh. What has your car got on it?
  3. tip no.1 - don't ever take pics of a car on grass!
  4. ouch! what on earth happened there?
  5. nah just say hello to the SAU guys in general.
  6. but I was on late shift and got here an hour early when I wrote that!
  7. Drunk you say? Well I never would have thought! How low have we fallen??
  8. that and the fact that all of a sudden I had a faster car than your STI
  9. i've said it once and i'll say it again - you should have been a salesman. muhaha Snowy - if anyone is going to break her in on an Aussie track then its gonna be me! Seriously tho I don't think i'll make it to P.I. Just found out that one of the turbos is leaking a bit of oil so gotta get a kit put through it first. Also got a quote from Centreline and theres a small fortune worth of work to be done there.
  10. i'm just afraid of your "touch of death" when it comes to 32's Troy
  11. thanks for the heads up Matt, i'll give them a buzz and get some ASAP! Gotta get the car booked in @Centreline too. You'd think i'd be more worried about compliance items than "track day worthiness" wouldn't you?
  12. no it doesn't. Its something you can't prove or disprove either way because its called an "opinion". Anyway enough chit chat in this thread. rrrage - good luck with the car I had heaps of fun with my 32 GTS-T when I had it.
  13. I posted that same pic on another thread and ppl spotted the type of rim. TE37's doofus. Roy - thanks dude. Its good to finally have it. I took it for a spin (closed roads seeing as its not registered yet) and it was a pretty amazing feeling. I still miss the GTS-T tho Shoulda kept it
  14. ahem. I wouldn't say that. (not a good pic but u get the idea) http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/at...achmentid=31807
  15. yep they are pretty bad. I had them on my last car (32 GTS-T). They're great for doing stupid things tho. I had a heap of fun with them on my 18's @Decca right before I sold the car. As for modifying it. You will most likely get the urge to do so and a 32 GTS-T is dangerous for the inexperienced. (but heaps of fun still)
  16. any suggestions to where most of us plebs could go?
  17. nah man i've given my one a quick wash. You can't tell from the pics but the paint is fairly stuffed. It needs a good cut n' polish.
  18. yes it is a GTR race car. The rims are TE-37's 17"x9" R33 N1 Engine (3000km), aftermarket diffs, oil cooler, Apexi front mount, Apexi N1 suspension, custom stainless exhaust, roll cage ............. blah blah blah we all know the score with the heavily modified ones
  19. you can re-map your stock ECU a GTR ecu won't do anything special anyway. Has this ECU got the standard chip or aftermarket?
  20. well here are a couple of crappy pics of the car. The front bar is off so i'll prolly have to post another one after its all back on. Gotta get rid of of those crappy replacement stock seats and get my Sparco's in there!
  21. i'll post my ones up shortly. The front bar, bumper support etc has been pulled off at the moment.
  22. hopefully soon Theres an intermittent problem with the 4wd system (light comes on and it reverts to 2wd) and a few other issues that needs to be dealt with. I'm hoping a couple of months max on the road but I might trailer it to a event or 2 hopefully. Still its good to have it sitting the garage. I've been told the thing looks menacing just sitting there heh
  23. excess is $500 so not worth it. Yeh at least all the goodies inc the seat etc weren't stolen. I'm going to check how bad the paint damage is on the guards where the badges were to try and see if I can make a claim and get it fixed. Replacement badges from Nissan are $53 each so I just might buy some new ones.
  24. I have photos of my car just before it was shipped from Japan. When I received it the side GT badges were missing, the rear boot clips and the metal valve caps.
  25. hehe yeh my point was that its not "fresh from Japan" anymore tho. Fresh from Japan is when the thing is filthy and has been sitting @your house for 10mins (sorry being pedantic now)
