  1. yeh it just means you hit things harder when it all goes pear shaped
  2. interesting, except I find it amusing how some people assume it cost less $ to do up a 32GTR as apposed to a 33 or 34. I'd do up a GTS-T as they represent the majority of the Skyline community. Either way every car that has a SAU sticker of some description is promo for this forum. My car has about 4 SAU stickers on it...
  3. this may help http://www.vicroads.vic.gov.au/vrpdf/rdsafe/VSI%208.pdf
  4. hi mate, do you have any pics of the rims on your GTR?
  5. First rims, but in black. Black rims on a white car look HOT!!!!!
  6. awesome. Very nice.
  7. well if anyone knows then it'd be great cause i wouldn't mind getting one for my TE37's which a certain tyre outlet lost
  8. correction - type-M brakes are 4-piston
  9. 4-piston brakes is a good sign. Also its called "Type-M"
  10. Roy has a white Evo 7 and has come to a no. of track days - Winton, Calder and Sandown.
  11. hard to tell you anything about it mate. Just remember if you're barely scraping the money for it then you can't afford it. Anyone can buy a GTR - maintaining it is another matter. In the first year its easy to spend as much as the initial cost in just getting it on the road and maintainence. It will have been driven hard. (its a GTR!) Also with importing its mostly guess work because they can only tell you so much about the car - personal experience.
  12. she died on the dyno. Still it'll be back in a few months with forgies and high flowed N1's etc + PowerFC. Hopefully get it over the 300rwkw mark. (yeh like i need the extra power). You guys can buy me beers to cheer me up on Tue meeting night?
  13. $20k buys you a 15year old $100k car that is totally stuffed. Expect to pay $20k on it on the first year. 33GTS-T would be a way more viable option for that sort of $
  14. amazing how many ppl have an insecurity problem and have to prove it with their custom plates. <- then again I have custom plates. But I ain't lying about my car. (thanks Al for the last might suggestion!) now if only I can get the other 3 cylinder working again muahhahaha
  15. i want one too. My car was a 6 cylinder when that was shot
  16. Just saw the awesome pics from the track - I hate you all wha?
  17. not quite the truth but close enough..

    Rimjob

yeh Aaron is a pig in shit atm. I told him if he leaves the TE37's lying around @work i'm going to swipe em'. West - TE37's are a better quality rim than the Works. (not talking looks wise cause thats a personal choice)
  19. 1. Bugatti Veyron - 400 km/h 2. Koenigsegg CCR - 388 km/h 3. McLaren F1 - 372 km/h 4. Ferrari Enzo - 355 km/h 5. Porsche Carrera GT - 334 km/h 6. McLaren Mercedes SLR - 334 km/h 7. Lamborghini Murcielago - 330 km/h congrats your taxi is now a super car.
  20. wtf is wrong with ppl? We own expensive high performance vehicles...Fuel cost is only a very small part of owning one of these cars. If u want fuel economy - BUY A ECHO. I'd drive all the way to the south of Melb for a cruise (from Sunbury) if I had to. And my car ain't that great on fuel with a 70L tank compared to my last car (32 GTS-T) with a 60L tank!
  21. item *HAS NOT* been sold yet.
  22. hi mate, would have pics of these? As far as I was aware the R's didnt' come factory with rear pods.
  23. reply sent via p.m and e-mail
  24. *SOLD* *Still For Sale* until listed on this post Genuine R32 GTR Spoiler (Black). $150 firm Located in Melbourne - you'd probably want to pick this up as they weigh a bit. *SOLD*
  25. you'll have to change or modify the bonnet latch also for the bonnet to close and get the front grill, the killer is the rear guards which are obviously part of the chassis that will need to get replaced. Headlights should be ok as long as they have the brackets for the front grill. Also if you change the front guards you'll need to change the side indicators as GTR ones are larger than GTS. So after all this is it worth having a fake GTR? You decide.
