Hang on i thought R33s ran 6psi and R32s 7psi (certain of that because the factory boost gauge says 7)... Anyway when my mechanic cable-tied the tube to the b/c (thus "removing" the b/c), it showed stock boost levels. Benny i think you're right these cheap b/c's cant seal properly.

As much as i love my Skyline, i wouldnt (a) have bought it or (B) continue to like it as much as i do, if it didnt have a sunroof. Sunroof = BIG YES

All those mods that you have listed are exactly what i have!!! Most of which fitted today. Stock is around 110-115rwkw so those mods should take you to the 160rwkw (i hope). I think Roy is on the money with performance figures. Weight tho i believe to be 1290kg for the manual

Had a dual stage boost controller fitted today. I wanted high boost to be 14psi and low to be the stock 7psi. However for some reason my mechanic couldnt get low boost below 11-12psi. Does anyone know why this could be? He suggested that possibly the car wasnt running 7psi when i brought it in, however to my knowledge it hadnt been boosted before... Mods include large FMIC, 3" turbo-back exhaust.. (if that makes any difference) Any suggestions on why the boost would not come down would be most appreciated...

I have never participated in any of these 'runs' but often attend. I know its wrong and id hate for anything to go wrong but to tell you the truth it's pretty damn exciting to watch, knowing that its illegal and that the consequences of getting caught or getting it wrong are huge. Id much prefer a cruise through old Pac however, anyone up this Sat nite?

As above. I have no idea where to mount it. It's off a Dual Stage boost controller Turbosmart kit and has the flip cover like in fighter jets etc. Any ideas? Has anyone got any pics of their installation?

I wouldnt mind knowing either - my car is too quiet....

Guys im looking to fit a Turbosmart Dual Stage Boost Controller next week and was wondering if i also need to get the fuel cut defender? Also, what is safe boost to run (spike safe)... I have large FMIC and 3inch turbo back exhaust...

I currently have one but it is knackered. Possibly unrepairable. It is a GTR replica front bar suited for a GTST (narrower but same style). Does anyone know of where i can get one from that is less damaged than mine?

Geez some nice times here so far.... I just let rip my R34 GTR V Spec II - out of the box (since last outing - set up for high speed run) i ran 1:13.700 on my second lap... Ill change settings tomorrow... Weetbix, looks like Manion will be amongst it this time.... NSW POWER!! haha

Thanks for the advice guys - sounds 50/50 to me though. Another dumb question - what's the difference between dump pipe and "front pipe" or engine pipe that i hear of? Im new to all of this so any advice would be great. Anyone know of any reputable and cheap outlets in Sydney that sell dump pipes?

This may be a stupid question so go easy on me pls. Which type of dump pipe is better? * 3 inch pipe (wastegate vents out the main pipe) OR * Pipe with separate pipe/tube/channel (whatever) for wastegate gases? Is there much of a difference? Anyone know of a place in Sydney that sells cheap?
