  1. RacePace FTW!
  2. Greg is still in the same spot, but can be hard to reach. Try early(ish) morning or mid afternoon
  3. how much are you after for the white ones?
  4. I paid 300 to get the 33 from Goulburn to Canberra.....i feel ripped off lol
  5. Get a Supra! cause I'm not Biased at all
  6. road registered How much do you think the quicker GTR's cost? Don't get me wrong I would love a GTR...bang for buck there are better cars if you want performance. Like I said earlier, buy one because you want to
  7. Intercooler piping would look mint! Might do my airbox
  8. But...teh commo has a VVVVVVVVVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE AAAATTTTTEEEEEEEHHHH MATE~
  9. Ye that would be me in teh Soarer If you can pull the motor out yourself with the help of a few mates you will save yourself a metric butt load of money. You have a fair budget for it, so providing you can get the motor out you will get a reasonable RB26 for $7k, if the pistons and rods are re-useable you will have change left over. I suggest you go and speak to Greg at pro-engines in Queanbe-hole http://www.proengines.com.au/packages.html
  10. Merc V8 conversion sounds expensive + they often had completely different subframes between engines just tidy it up imo
  11. What does your car run at wakefield park? because I know of some sub 200kw S13s that run 1:08-1:09 round there easily
  12. wow, calm down son!
  13. Hey! Just noticed you're in Banks....mighty close to me....in fact if I listen carefully I may be able to hear you typing. Depending on what went wrong with your current engine, if may be better to rebuild it (a basic one) Forged Pistons and rings - ~$1000 standard rods are fine for 400rwks New bearings ~$300 Machining/assembly - ~$1000 maybe a bit more New Nissan head Gasket - ~$60 and Oil Pump - $500-1300 depending on what you want and should be good to go using the old intake/exhaust gaskets Edit - just read your last post...if that is all done already definitely rebuild it. may only need new bearings and give the crank a quick machine, or buy a 2nd hand crank
  14. Also - how bad is your current engine?
  15. you may call me quick draw mcGraw
  16. Will the have the Short pump drive Option is to buy it, pull the crank out, have a collar and new bearings fitted.
  17. That's cool! lol @ eyebrows
  18. Oh that was nice of Nissan lol I wonder if the Dealership mechanics do the "you're a dick head map" to people they don't like, like some Ford dealers were doing with the BA XR6T's and de-tuning cars that had a few dubious warranty claims
  19. definitely worth hanging on to then
  20. Most of the guys doing race cars, buy the kits for hot rods etc. Been told to stay away from the cheap ebay stuff. But no personal experience sorry (went to start on the 33 but sold it before it was finished)
  21. Holden? for the starter at least...
  22. RB20's are 270cc
  23. Will be interesting to see if any of the 98 blends have a hint of ethanol in them....if you ever go back to 98 lol Factory ECU's have come a long way, does the ECU support dual maps, or do you flash/upload a new map from the Cobb unit?
