I bought a JZZ30 Locally But still have a soft spot for tough z20s Whats the dealeo with bringing a car (Z20) in as a track car, I know that track only cars need a Cams L3, but if I brought a car in that isnt classed as race/rally is there an obligation to have it complied/registered? I would assume that if a car fell off the radar after import approval eyebrows would be raised. Now this isnt going to me much of an issue with a pre-88 car as compliance is relativity simple compared to SEVS So yeah help a dumb-ass out and please change my failed spelling of the thread title

  7. Yeah fair enough, I remember Baron saying a rear bumper for the Porka was about 5k or something silly. If he ever comes out of his hole I'll direct him here. I recall a few youtube clips on the GT3's in Europe the guys running them said the box was a weak point in both the 996 and 997, but I don't know whether the sequential or the H-pattern was stronger.
  8. As above plus save the money you are planning on mods to maintain the car, no doubt you will need new front and rear bars, lots of tyres etc Dont get into the trap of constantly modifying stuff, Wait until you have oerfected sliding the car as is before chasing more power etc.

I brake tested a guy on the hume just outta sydney, was an EF/EL falcon tailgating me in the 110 zone, I wouldve been doing 115 or so going round a few cars, he decided to start flashing his high beams and getting aggro, so I gave him a big flash of brake light and he lost it and speared off into the median strip and disappeared into the shrubs Andrew 1 - f**k head - 0

  15. Is it just one side of the rotor that is hot? (kinda hard to tell I know) The caliper adapter might be just slightly off centre.
