  8. You need the 8 bolt OS Crank with an OS clutch to suit IIRC, I have the OS Giken Cataloge at home, so I can have a look and get back to you tomorrow if you like. Edit - Come to think of it, that might just relate to the OS Giken RB30.
  9. Sounds good Sif my car will be ready by this time next year lol. Pm/email/msg me details cause Ill be at wakie on the 27/6 for MRA
  10. 2k on a clutch that will 100% hold up for years or 1k for a clutch that might shatter itself all over the place because its on the limit. I have a OS Giken Comp Twin plate rated at 600hp, The Nismo Copper mix one would be better for the street though imo. OS also do a milder twin plate rated at 480hp which is cheaper.
  11. Dammit, Gonna have to buy wider slicks so my whale can beat chubbeh.....oh wait different classes lol

  13. Shotgun crashing the party! and stealing beers
  14. My twin plate has at least 40,000ks and plenty of drag/circuit action behind it and its only half worn.
  15. Sif you even need to do that, just use some outdoor lantern oil lying around in the garage and you are good to go
  16. It needs to be tuned, and im still trying to decide whether to have this one tuned or just wait for the RB30. I may still run the 25 but wont be done before the SAU day, Too much to do and I dont wanna rush things to get it all done. Edit, Also needs a new timing belt
  17. Is it your car? or your mates. Sounds like its done the rings anyhow
  18. Well thanks to you guys I have my cage sorted, hopefully in a few months it will be started
  19. Generally - the larger the cams, the more revs are needed to get the engine to make power e.g at set of 280deg 11mm lift cams on an RB25DE would need 4500-5000rpm before it started to make power, below that the airflow through the ports is very slow and inefficiant, So you then need to rev the engine harder eg 9000rpm redline in order to have a decent power band, if the engine only revved to 7000, you would only have 2000rpm where the engine makes any grunt, so each time you changed gear you would drop out of the power and go no where. Think of big cams like you would a big turbo...kinda
  20. You painted your wheels with beer? and they turned black? lol
