Jaycar IEBC is the go if your keen to put in the time to build and program it. Works very well. Around $130 for unit and hand controller. Theres a huge thread on here about it.

A mate of mine had a leaking exhaust manifold gasket on his VL, and it had similar symptoms. A loud ticking noise that gradually dissapeared as it warmed up.

I didn't think it was illegal to tint your front door windows, if that's what your talkin about, as long as it's not under 35%. I was only aware of it being illegal to tint your windscreen.

The Boot mat would be possible, all you have to do is make a cardboard pattern of the original, i'm gonna call the guy this week to start talking prices and stuff, i'll ask him about the boot mat then. Sorry Goldzilla, didn't see your question tucked under that huge pic I think the trim colour code relates to the door and roof trim as Terminal has stated, and also the dash and carpet colour. There's two codes, Z and J. I know from mine that Z is black dash, console, door skins, grey roof and rear trim, dark grey carpet. I think J is lighter colours, someone who has this trim would be able to describe it. The only other differences would be the seats and the fill on the doors, which is dependant on model or options (eg, leather).

I know factory flywheels weigh about 12kg's, hopefully can get it all weighed. Cheers.

Yep, should be on the jap plate, i think all colour codes are two letters and a number eg: KR4 And the interior colour will be either Z or J.

Sounds like it's quite fiddly then, gonna wait till mum gets me some scalpels from work I was actually thinkin bout how big the holes should be cut out, so it's the centre holes for the needles that have to be cut a bit smaller?
