Heres a pic of the mainboard, it's not the best, but you can see the layout. The chip with the sticker R030B on it is a TMS27PC256DHE.

I was very keen on the remapping idea, then i found out the series 1 ECU is not the same as the series 2, and i was quite dissapointed. I would prefer this method over an aftermarket ECU for the reasons Ian's just given.

Just need to find someone thats willing to spend some time looking into it, i've found no one is really interested at the moment because theres little demand. One thing i have confirmed is it's definately different to the R33 ECU, and i have been told it could be possible to make the bikirom megaboard work with it.

Ian, I've looked into a daughterboard for the series 1 stagea ECU, and it's similar to the R33 ECU, so it doesn't have the 40 pin header But i've found it does have an external eprom on the mainboard which has external connection points. We just need to find someone with the knowledge and skill to nut it out.

I removed the glove box and the bracket behind it, and still couldn't see anything that you might be able to remove. That's what's makin me think it might of been an option, Dunno.

Mines done that a few times, when i've switched off O/D to overtake then switch it back on it seems to drop back a gear then back into top gear. Very strange

Here it is, i've looked all over my A/C unit, besides removing it, but cannot find where they are. Maybe they were an optional extra.

I've seen that bodykit on yahoo auctions for series 1 and series 2, i think they're reasonably cheap too for a full kit, not sure how much freight would be though

Yep mines silver, got R33 GTR style wheels on it, will have to catchup some time.

There is no separate auto ECU, it's incorporated into the main ECU

Come to think of it it does seem to be around 190 , still runnin stock suspension it feels quite stable, and i must say gets there reasonably quick too

I think one of the other guys got his replaced at Novus @ Burpengary if i remember correctly, I don't think they are the same as a R34 but I've talked to this guy and he tells me he can get a windscreen for a stagea, somewhere around $300 fitted, but don't don't quote me on that. Beastien.

The Bikirom Megaboard will only work with series 2 NEO Stageas, the series 1 has a similar ECU to the R33, but i have inspected my ECU and found it has a external Eprom which the R33 ECU doesn't have, i talked to BadBiki and showed him a pic of it and he agreed that it might be possible to adapt the Megaboard to the series 1 stagea ECU. Only problem is finding someone with the knowledge to nut it out, as BadBiki is too busy. Anyone interested

Nope wasn't me, theres another silver stagea around my area, i've seen it in newcastle, it's got chrome 18's from wat i can tell and looks like it might be lowered. Mines got R32 style 17's on it

I've been lookin for a while too, saw one bout a month ago, but it dissapeared really quick. I'm researchin all the parts at the moment, and am gonna get some prices soon, the prices in the earlier thread were for 260RS parts, i'm gonna price the RSFS series 2 parts an see if theres any difference. Maybe if we buy multiple parts we might get a discount, will ask and see what they say, I've bought a few parts off nissan already and the guy i deal with seems pretty good, so i'll try an squeeze him a little
