  1. Cheers wrxhoon, theres no driveshaft, but there's a clutch and a couple of other small peices, so i'd say 90kg is pretty close.
  2. Got my dial faces today woohoo Now, it looks obvious that they have to be cut out, around the border is easy, but what is the easiest way to cut out all the holes, for needles, screws ect?
  3. Does anyone know what the dry weight of an R33 GTR gearbox with transfer case is? I need to get one freighted.
  4. That'd have to be for under 25 driver with no comprehensive
  5. Got mine with NRMA, with full comprehensive insurance (just cars) price for greenslip was $269 Age 28
  6. my alternator was dead when i first got my beast, luckily the car yard let me swap it with an skyline one they had in the yard, fit straight in and is a 90A alternator.
  7. Central coast is good, newy would be better, but i'm easy. wouldn't mind goin for a bit of a spin down the freeway
  8. Check your crankcase breather hoses on top of your rocker covers, mine were both split when i got mine.
  9. I got my mechanic to replace the brake fluid on one of my services, and i dont think he even looked at the ABS unit, infact i'm sure he didn't cos i watched the whole process. He just bled the brakes as u normally would with a car without ABS, and the brakes are fine. That service manual would be handy for things like this
  10. I get around 400k's around town, not sure bout long runs as i havent done any yet.
  11. What i want to know is because it's a GTR box, do you have to use a GTR flywheel and clutch? or will a flywheel and clutch fit from a GTST? What have you other guys used in your conversions?
  12. Can someone suggest what flywheel and clutch would be best to use. Are they the same for an RB25 and RB26.
  13. I'll take the gearbox if you decide to split the parts up
  14. That'd be Mum's Taxi (Krissy).
  15. It's the program Nissan uses for all it's part listings, exploded views are included. Just enter your VIN number and you can access all part number listings for that particular model. This one is for Japanese cars only. Do a search for Nissan Fast and you'll find a thread dedicated to it, i think the dload link is on page 5.
  16. I was told by the guy i bought mine from (who has been to Japan) that it is pronounced Stay-Jah.
  17. I received my manual console parts today, Hooray So i've re-posted the part numbers in my previous post, all parts are confirmed. I'm still going to use my rear ashtray because it's identical to the one used in the RS4S, the front ashtray however is a different coloured silver, the old one fits but it looks a bit out of place, i've posted the part number for the RS4S one in my previous post aswell. The grand total came to just over $1000 (i was hit by customs, and got quite a shock ) but this is still alot cheaper than you'd pay through Nissan Australia. Everything was quite easy and smooth (except for dam customs) so no one should have any problems.
  18. The last minute bid wins it more often than not The guy stated in one of the questions he might see about gettin more, so they could show up again on ebay.
  19. I was at the foreshore for a little while on sunday (silver stagea). What car were you driving?
  20. Come to think of it, i won't bother with anodizing or engraving either.
  21. I'll have clear fronts soon too (won ebay auction) Just gotta get the taillights now
  22. I removed the pan, you get about 1 to 2 litres, replace this with the same amount as you get out, also clean the filter while the pan is off, mine was filthy. Then take the line off the cooler thats coming from the box, start the car and pump out and measure 1 litre of oil, turn the car off, then replace it, keep repeating this until the oil looks clean. Took about 8 litres for the oil to become clean. From what i understand they hold around 12 litres all up.
  23. Very nice, would like a set myself
  24. Ah one of the top guns up in the whitehouse lol Yep i do know Effy quite well, one of my mates used to live across the road from him. Small world.
