  1. The pfc will be fine. Will save you getting a retune. Its only a matter of wiring up the factory engine harness as you would if you were using a stock ecu. Theres only about 4 wires to connect if they have a similar plug to the rb20/25
  2. It isn't suffering from timing jitter at all is it. They will detonate when the timing wanders and advances it too far
  3. Was from a performance shop with an online store which I found while googling prices. The communication was pretty much non existant and it took close to 4 weeks to arrive. The failsafe and triggering vavle is what made me choose it over a snow or aem unit. I'm pretty keen to see the results from it
  4. Was something like AU$720 delivered off some duds in the UK. Took forever for it to be sent. I don't think it works out much dearer to buy the kit from Howerton Engineering in the states
  5. I've just received my aquamist hfs-3 so it will be interesting to see what gains are to be made. Its certainly a good looking piece of gear
  6. After doing a fair amount of research I'm considering an aquamist kit for my RB30. Will definately be interesting to see the difference in results. A mate made close to a 28rwkw with water/meth and a .5psi boost increase in his vlt
  7. Just wondering if there was 2 different versions on the RB25 neo cas? I've had to replace the original one (black plug) which was in the car when I bought it but don't seem to be getting an rpm signal with the replacement (grey plug). I can get an rpm signal with an R33 item though. Do I need to reverse the wiring for the new cas? Every neo cas I find a picture of has the grey plug. As you can see in the pic the plug goes onto the cas the opposite way around Part numbers are RSB-14 (black) and RSB-14K (grey)
  8. Nah just saw it on there. Was considering putting a bid on it but decided I probably have too many cars as it is. Looked like a pretty easy repair
  9. After a crank angle sensor to suit a RB25 neo PM or Ph. 0409 958 227
  10. After a crank angle sensor to suit a RB25 neo PM or Ph. 0409 958 227
  11. How much are you wanting to spend? I've got one here on an engine. Will have to take it off to see the condition though
  12. Got a set of really ugly 18's up for grabs. The fronts are 18 x 8.5 +35 and the rears are 18 x 9 + 42. They have come off a burnt car but structually they look fine (just the awesome red anodising has discoloured) and for this reason I'm only after $200 for the lot PM or Ph. 0409 958 227
  13. I sent them to you the other day. Did you still want it?
  14. * Complete diff centre from R33 GTST - $150 * 3" cat back Jasma exhaust to suit R33 - $150 * Indicators from front bar to suit series 1 R33 - $20 * Drivers side rear 1/4 window to suit 180SX - $50 * Set of 5 SR20 Silvia/180SX factory mags. Tyres very average - $150 PM or Ph. 0409 958 227

  16. I've got a pair here but they will most likely need machining as they've got a small lip on the outside edge
  17. I've got a cat back 3" exhaust here. Looks to be in reasonable condition. Should have it off the car by tomorrow
  18. Are the pistons in the rebuild kit to suit stock or oversize bore? Also are they turbo compression?
  19. Just wondering if there was someone up north with a factory RB25 NEO ecu that I could borrow? Only need to see whether the car will start with the stock ecu and determine whether my power fc is cactus
  20. I bought the car with the pfc fitted so unfortunately I don't have a stock ecu to try. I'm starting to think its ecu related though
  21. I've just got the power fc from my r34 gtt back from being repaired after I popped the overcurrent protection circuit replaced due to hooking the battery up back to front. It tested up fine after being repaired but the car is refusing to start. The fuel pump is priming for a split second and the pfc hand controller is going to the data page straight away. There is also no rpm signal when cranking. Everything which should have 12v does so I'm just about lost for ideas. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I should be testing or looking for?
  22. That should be heaps then. Mine is very similar to that one in the link I posted minus the fan and it doesn't get hot at all
  23. Pretty sure they were only in the car for a few hours. The guy I bought the car off put them in to try and fix a miss which turned out to be something else.
