  1. Spotted jlnewton (again) in GT-R along coronation drive about lunchtime today. I'm thinking about starting just a "Spotted jlnewton" thread
  2. Hmm depending on how big this cruise is, isn't it just going to be a massive traffic jam punctuated by idiots in excels and possible defect stations? I mean I'm kinda assuming this could have been posted on other boards too....ones where the population aren't as refined as ourselves. Not mentioning any names. *cough* nissansilvia *cough cough* Excuse me.
  3. Carcrazy2 has finally returned lol! Shy that dog looks like a fluffy toy
  4. Obviously you haven't been to Ipswich. By 19 they've had their six kids and they're hassling their kids about when they're going to get some grandchildren.
  5. It's farkin ridiculoous how much I see your cars around lol....Hey if anyone wants to hire a private investigator to follow him around don't bother I got it covered
  6. http://www.soundoff.net.au/shop/ I just emailed him from a link at his website, told him what alarm I had, what car I had and he got back to me with a quote in under 2 hours.
  7. Yesterday saw silver R33 Series 2 sedan again...not sure if it was yours again JLNewton...probably....was heading towards toowong along moggill road. Also R34 sedan, white, in city at lunchtime had R34 GT-R spoiler. What's with all the sedans?! Sedans are the new coupes!!
  8. Got a quote from Chris Rodgers...very good quote - $160 plus he comes to you. I think I will go with him as he has a good reputation on here.
  9. Sry to drag this thread up again...but I just bought an alarm (yeah off ebay lol). I checked around and it's the same one they sell in Strathfield for $300 but got it for $165, has black wiring, 2 point etc...no remote start which I don't care about anyway. Strathfield loosely quoted about $150 to install it with a lifetime guarantee on the install. Still checking around but that seems pretty good to me.
  10. Hi mate, don't suppose you'd sell the AVCR seperately for $400? (Assuming it's in good condition)
  11. Saw a nice-looking blonde woman driving the twin to my car...silver S2...on moggil rd Taringa
  12. Actually I saw a nice-looking blonde chick driving a silver S2 yesterday. What a pity no good-looking women need to resort to picking up desperate men who need to advertise on message boards
  13. Well...hasn't this thread started to take an even more disturbing direction? I dunno what's sadder - this thread or the fact that this thread is the only one on the QLD board that has generated three pages of replies since 8pm!!!
  14. Hey Bryan - not sure mate, just give him a call though he'll be able to let you know. He's a very nice guy and as he's trying to start this business up he'll be more than happy to hear from any prospective customers. Dave - give him a call, I'm sure you won't be disappointed if you take your car there.
  15. Hey is that boost controller the Blitz Dual SBC Spec R or Spec S? Or is it a different one? Just wondering because they all have similar names but they have quite different features and prices
  16. Can I ask what you are replacing the ECU with? Just asking cos I have an auto S2 and was looking around for different ECU replacements and couldn't find any except piggybacks like Emanage
  17. Yeah I once had a chick slap me and get out of the car just because an R31 passed me at an intersection
  18. Hi can you mail me a pic of the boost gauge please? [email protected], cheers.
  19. Thanks mate, yeah Neil is an all-round good bloke too and if you talk to him about your plans for a car you can see him get all excited about it, comes from being a performance freak himself :burnout: Should get some pics of his 1970 Monaro on here...it's an absolute BEAST...rebuilt it from a shell I also just think it's a shame sometime that people buy an import and then get caught in a situation where the Nissan dealer won't touch it, it's a performance car so you don't want to take it to the local budget dodgy mechanic but taking it to a specialty import tuning shop costs an arm and a leg just for basic maintenance stuff. Should be places you can go that know how to treat your car properly but don't rip you off. Oh yeah Neil does some sweet braided hoses and brake stuff too btw.
  20. Yeah I don't mind using the controller actually. I have driving force pro for the PS2 and there's no question it rocks but if I didn't have it I'd still be happy with the hand controller - and the xbox controller is prolly slightly better than PS2 in my opinion. It's got those big lever things you can squeeze to change gears.
  21. I haven't been bothered to set a car up specifically for drag yet but my best on a circuit-spec car was 9.5xx with 2005 Ford GT. It has the basic performance mods plus NOS and only up to level 1 NA tune. Having trouble getting a good launch tho....Inark when you say "without touching the settings" do you mean suspension etc?
  22. Not sure, I only saw it from the front as I was driving past it was parked in a carpark with its nose facing the road on (I think) Sherwood rd not sure what suburb that is...corinda?
  23. And so do we!
