im probably going to buy some falken semi-slicks cause i can get them cheap. i've heard these new one's are supposed to be pretty good..... what time is the event ment to begin? is anyone cruising up as a group? i'd imagine the valvebounce boys would be....

what kind of tyres do you run camma? i'll have to try and get my hands on some semi-slicks....

sweet! got any pics? i reckon its interesting seeing what other people do differently to their models, with regards to paint and mods etc.... im close to finishing my Veilside S14. should be done by the weekend. i'll post up pics when its done.....

i should be able to go. am about to do my suspension (finally!!!). so it'd be a great time to test the new gear. and its on a weekend which is good. (Easter? who cares!)

ok, i've taken some pics of my models, not all of em, just the best ones...... the R34 Calsonic GTR, R33 Calsonic GTR, R33 Kure GTR, Nismo R33 GTR S tune. i changed the color from silver to GTR LM Blue, just cause it looks mad! you might notice that they are rather dusty. thats because im trying to find a cloth soft enough to dust them with scracthing the decals. sorry for the blurryness of some of the photos, was using a cheap camera

spotted a black R32 GTR going along state circle about 5.45 ish this arvo. then at 6ish, a silver R33 gts-t going around parliment house. had wheels and an exhaust, was stock otherwise. looked very neat......

what kind of car is it going in? what mark said is pretty much the go......

when does webber's contract run-out with williams? he's always been "owned" by flav and renault in terms of contractual dealings etc... williams had to "buy" webber off flav. i believe he is still under contract to him..... mark will do better this year, cause the williams is a much better car this year than last year. im not sure i'd say that the renault is the car which would be better suited to him, just look at barrichello, changed teams and cant drive the honda for crap! but the renault is certainly the fastest......

Tamiya make the better quality models, with more detail etc.... but Fujimi make the most models of anything! not only do they make heaps of different models of all kinds of cars, but they also do various kinds of wheels (deepdish, chrome and brands!!!), exhausts and bodykits. these however need to be ordered from model shops after you peer through the many pages of the catalouge, and aren't all that cheap, but they look mad!

1:24 scale. $85 for that is way too much......

depends on where you look. some go for around $30. others are more expensive. i've seen one of the Veilside S14's with sticker price of $85! that is TOO much. because most of the cars they make are japanese, cars like the gibson GTR might be hard to find, but you can pick up some awesome jap cars like the Z tune, R32 GTR Vspec II and heaps of others.....

spotted theo's GTR this morning along canberra ave about 8.45am, then shortly after, saw a midnight purple R33 GTR with gold wheels. HOT!

Cheif Engineer, Jorg Zander left williams for personal reasons, returning to germany to be with his family. they say it shouldn't affect their performance. they've just finished a 3 day test at velincia, which was a sucess. they managed to fix the problem which caused Nico Rosberg's engine to blow and it ran perfectly over the 3 days. things are looking good at williams.....

unfortunately i wont be attending this year. damn shame too...... i think webber should be the goods this weekend, provided he get some reliabilty. im looking forward to the 1st corner prang which has become a bit of a tradition at albert park recently!!! HA!

i've been really into building these kits lately. have built the R33/34 calsonic skylines, KURE R33 skyline, R33 nismo GTR. am currently building an R34 gt-t and a veilside S14 which is green with gold pearl. i love modifying them with bodykits, custom interiors and GT wings! i'll post up some pics through the week.....

spotted a hot 360 mondena, 355 F1 challenge and all kinds of mad italian cars at auto-italia. and there was a mad white R33 GTR in the car park.... also saw daves old GTR in tuggers near the hyperdome. gave a wave, got one back....

i think its both. Trulli has never been impressive and Ralf just seems to have lost interest the past few years. the car is obvisously behind and slow at best. everyone has dubbed toyota "the sleeping giant", cause of its huge budget. how much longer is it gonna sleep for???

spotted a silver R33 gts-t yesterday morning with a full bodykit, flat boot to match the qtr panels and R34 GTR wheels. looked STUNNING! was parked outside mawson shops.

Ruben has proven he has the ability to drive. i reckon it has to be more than the TC issue thats giving him grief..... i think toyota needed to dump trulli years ago. they shouldn't have even hired him. you cant teach an old dog new tricks. Ralf and Jarno are both in the twlight of their career's. they both have had their time. i think toyota should be looking for one new fresh face to mould into their own and another higher profile driver for next season. a driver line up like Raikkonen and Ryan Briscoe would be a sweet combination......
