  5. Yeah i hear what ya saying and im not having a go at you floody. Just saying that its a call that most people would say just from looking at the car. Ment it as the whole Fast and the Furious thing, got a BOV and a rear wing with some decals and its a 10 second car
  6. Sounds good man. Depending on if i compete then i will no doubt make the trip up north to Symmonds just to see the pro's go at it. Might get onto TimmyB and see if he wants a road trip :headspin:

    Hi

Welcom to SAU Shimmy, more than welcome to the forums, come one come all in a non gay sounding way  Im sure that you will see plent of us around the place in our cars sooner or later
  13. Yeah its a big call but when you see the car and its running gear i think you will understand why it was said. My understanding is that the car came from one of the car companies in Japan and it was a demo car that they had built to show what they are capable of doing. Now the car has been dyno'd in Melbourne i believe and the figures were similar to Ma'x R31 but the new owner (jedinathan's old man) is having the car changed back to GTR 4wd, which in my book is a wise move with this car if all the stories of it are true. Would be very interested in seeing them both run the 1/4 and what times they would get and that goes for any other import doing the block these days that has a bit of work done to it. Just take Rickards's car for example, one very tidy import that has had the right mods done and producing some very impressive figures.
  14. I might be interested in one for the R32. I'll get back to ya
  15. Its a no name brand (as far as i know as it has no markings on it) it came with the car when i imported it. Opened up the glove box and there were 3 controllers in there. One is the boost and the other is the turbo timer (which i dont use) and i dont know what the other one is for??? Just thought i would try one of these valves and see how it goes???
  16. Hey mark will send you an email as im very interested in buyimg one of these for my 32. Is this better than have an electronic boost system???
  17. The car i will be using if i can source the parts in time is RWD not AWD so i can't see that as being a problem. Unless you know something that i dont CS_180 and in that case can you fill me in???
  18. Yep couldn't agree more, buy what you want have it installed by a pro all for a couple of hundred and be done with it. Not worth the headaches
  19. have a look at: www.caraudioasutralia.com under there security section in the forums. Or PM Chris Rogers on here good luck with it
  20. mate jump onto: http://www.caraudioaustralia.com/forums/fo...isplay.php?f=76 they will be able to help you out better with security and alot quicker
  21. My understanding is thats the way it was imported (alhtough could be wrong). They ripped it all out which doesn't really make sense unless they were trying to save weight or something (but its not like they had too with this car's power output) so i dont see why they didn't just remove the front axle assembly and just use as RWD drive like that. But yeah your old man is doing the right thing as that thing is a handfull as RWD drive and i recon you will find being 4WD again it will handle alot better and be able to utilise all the power its got. :headspin:
  22. Ok so fingers crossed and the car should be ready for the drift event on the 11th??? The only thing im chasing at the moment is a oil cooler set up, so if anyone has one that i can borrow for the day till i have time to put something together that would be great? If anyone is interested i got some gear for sale for a R32, will add a FS thread when i get a chance.
  23. So i take it that is the right car then everyone is talking about??? If it is hit me up man as i got a couple of other pics of it if ya want??? Can't wait to see it ont he road, as it looks pretty wild  The wild green machine :headspin:
  24. Should sounds very sweet with your set up, and it sounds like ou have the gift of the gab to get a deal like that
  25. Ok so i have heard a bit of talk the last couple of days about this green skyline thats kicking it in good old Tassie. Anyway the way that it was last described to me it sounds a lot like the one that Jeremy had in Melbourne the last time i was talking to him. Now the one in the pic has a 2.6 in it, as you can see a pretty wild body kit, big wheels and a big arse rear wing. I DONT KNOW WHY BUT THIS ONE HAS BEEN CHANGED FROM 4WD TO RWD??? and all they had to dull was pull the front axle :kick: . Anyway jedinathan looking forward to seeing the car, be it your old mans's or your.
