A fire extinguisher is required by all entrants and needs to be bolted to the vehicle. Screws or cable ties are not acceptable.Additionally, your metal bracket must have a metal retaining clip/band that holds the extinguisher in the bracket. Brackets where the extinguisher simply clips in are not acceptable. Be sure to bolt your extinguisher to a metal part of the body, not a plastic trim.

Might bring DOR IFT car down for intruder class, if that class still exists?

Pretty awesome DECA! Had the maddest time skidding the Sil80 around trying out different tyres. Thanks to all who stood/sat through the day helping run it and those who organised it so well. Awesome night at the Aussie too, it was great not having to walk around Shepp trying to find the GV pissed haha. I dont remember many of the photos floating around from that night! and finally, WHO THE f**k PUT SALT IN MY CHEESECAKE?!!!! lol

OK since everyone is excited about the new maps good time to bring this up: NOTICE TO ALL COMPETITORS REGARDING FIRE EXTINGUISHERS Please make sure your extinguisher is held in by a metal bracket. Make sure this metal bracket is bolted down to a metal part of the car with bolts NOT self tapping screws and NOT to plastic panels. Also make sure you have a bracket that holds the extinguisher with a metal band. NO GOOD: GOOD: If you dont have these things you wont be able to compete until you do. Cheers.
