Gavin doesn't have a Dyno, he uses Dysons' Rotary's dyno which a few hundred meters away. He normally road tunes cars and then fine tunes them on the dyno to save on costs.

I never got the water pump changed and as I understand it, it's a pretty expensive part. Plus gavin doesn't use anything other than Nissan parts. I guess you pay more for genuine quality and assurance it's going to last or it's covered by warranty.

Gavin has a flyer on his wall about either remapping or chipping an R32 ecu. Maybe ring him and enquire about it. I remember it being pretty cheap compared to a new computer

Most of the crowds of people dont' get down the coast until 9:30 - 10ish. We normally park over the far side of the carpark (towards the pool) with quite a few imports, usually skylines. Sometime between 12:30am and 5:45am on Saturday 27th December, someone broke into my KA Laser outside my house, rolled it down to the end of the street and proceeded to remove some goodies from it. Of main concern is the intercooler (+pipework), BOV, Boot Battery Box (+550CCA calcium battery) and carpeted MDF rear parcel shelf (including boxed 6x9 pioneer speakers and amplifier). The intercooler is from a JD Starion (import I believe?) and has the fins painted black. There is a small amount of overspray on the top of the left hand end tank. There is a rub mark in the dead center of the top cross over pipe. There is also corrosion marks on the bottom of the core where I couldnt be bothered polishing it totally clean The BOV is an old Turbosmart TypeII BOV (blue + gold) and has a 45 degree wear mark in the adjustment section where it had been rubbing on the bonnet. The battery box still has a sticker on it from Aussie Auto ($109-50 iirc?) and so does the battery (dunno price). I'm not expecting to get any of the parts back, but I was hoping that the intercooler might appear somewhere on another car. Its very distinctive so unless its acid cleaned or the end tanks modified, it's gonna stand out like dogs balls. At least if the cooler appears, I can find out who took the gear. Brutis is a KA laser with a E5T in it. The other night some wanker decided to steal it and take the intercooler, piping, BOV, speakers, back parcel shelf, gear knob, battery box and battery, jack and tools from the tool box in the boot. They tried to steal but succeed in the surge tank and fuel pump, boost gauge (braided line) stereo, door trims, shift light. So yeah.

I think there is both inside and outside parking, but there is no more security inside as their is outside. People can still walk up and steal shit. I was going to say, we will probably take brutis, because no one will want to steal him... but i guess they've proved that theory wrong

I'm not constant enough with my times to even bother racing And I dont really think my car is anything worth drooling over in a show n shine. Plus, after last weekends efforts with some little top bloke ripping off parts on our other car, I reckon this is the place where they spot your car, all your good parts and steal them. I'll have to wait to organise the cruise until DC bring out more information about the gate opening times and costs and the like.

I rang famous the other day and I'm not quite sure how their payment plans work. I'm still confused. The lady said taht you pay 2 months up front, then pay $250 a month for 8 months... That's still only 10 months, so what do you do for them? Not pay anything? Why not just pay one amout every 12 months?
