  1. Dave? As in Dave that worked there? David?
  2. Talking about cops not giving up (post by DAN666 about a cop trying to entrap him). Last night we decided we would leave BWCP and try and catch a few mates who were already on the highway. By the time we got to the end of smith street they were already at Yatala (they were at Movie World when we left BWCP), so with little chance of catching them we decided we would turn around and find something else to do down the coast. This proved to be a good decision and we took a cop car on a 50km tour through the Gold Coast. Starting with a brief stint on the M1 after turning around at movie world, we proceeded down Brisbane Road, Labrador, then along the GC highway, back down smith street (where I might add he didn't indicate) where we proceeded to turn left into Bermuda Street and head along their. The whole time, while making dummy lane changes and a bit of playing, the cops followed every move, while video taping us the whole way. Belgarion tried to drop back but the slower James went in the left hand lane, the slower the cops went in the right hand lane so James couldn't see them (traffic hazard some may think?). James and I were continually sharing the spotlight of having our arses on film. (They better be careful, I might think about taking up modelling :bahaha: ) Anyway... We had an S15, two R33's, a Z31, a VY SS ute (black.. not the cop) an S14 we picked up along the way and then a pulsar and a sprinter joined us. We decided we would pull into Shell Bermuda Street to refuel, refresh and replenish our stocks for what seemed to be a long night ahead of taking "tours" with these cops. They then decided they didn't want to join us in the servo and proceeded back along Bermuda Street to go annoy someone else probably. I believe all of us that were in this pack last night deserve a medal. We keep the traffic cops away from all our mates racing on the highway. Not intentionally, but if they insist on following us when we KNEW who they were and what they were doing, do you really think we are stupid enough to do something illegal?? **** heads. ****en wake up to yourself you idiots and go spend our hard earned tax dollars somewhere else and stop wasting time following innocent people who were just going out for a drive to waste some time. BTW, the car was a Green SS VY Ute with the number plate 865 IEQ. We had some fun when the car departed us. Round abouts are good mmkay? That's my story. Anyone else had an experience like this??
  3. Surely through that ABN and name you could contact the police and they could track it down for you?
  4. I got the 100000km service not long ago with EVERY fluid changed, Spark plugs, timing belt, check other belts, re oil filters. I got mine done in two parts with a few other things checked as well and I'm pretty sure it cost me below $500. But as I said, I got a few other things done as well. I'll try and find the receipts and let you know. Come to think of it I think it was around the $400 mark because I remember having $400 left over from my loan refinance
  5. PowerFC's can save fuel?? Are you for real?? *starts saving her penny's* Driving to work and home everyday in peak hour traffic sucks arse. Sucks lots of petrol too
  6. Skyline uses more petrol than our worked 308 in a Kingswood used to
  7. Zoix, who was that too... I didn't see anyone dissing you?
  8. I spoke to the owner of Aussie Auto today and he's got some pretty cool goodies lined up for prizes.... Augner(sp?) pedals, Macguires(sp?) gift pack choccas full of car care products, Mothers gift pack choccas full of car care products, Augner(sp?) seat covers, trophies and stuff like hats and shirts. Got a bit more planning than last time as well as voting for the best car present who'll get a trophy (as will someone deemed "Aussie Autos Choice" picked by the McManager there), a bit of stupidity with a throwing contest (cant tell anymore, or people will be practising) and thats where the Macguires pack comes in. Mother pack up for grabs just by popping your rego in a box. Setting up a mailing list for anyone interested with a few specials targetted only at those people as well as the normal catalouge specials... 20% off goddies in the shop from 6pm to 8pm as well so even if you dont wanna go for the social aspect, at least buy some stuff you need a fair whack cheaper than normal (and aussie auto is cheaper than autobarn/repco on most items to start with). Anyway just a bit more info for the night as well as a free bump. Hoping to see a fair few of you there, it should be pretty big.
  9. .. you sound like a real wanker klaymen.. I don't drink, I don't "own" my car and I don't own any houses and I'm still poor
  10. I haven't been pulled over once in the 18 months that I've owned the car
  11. Your soo tinny Wayne.. Getting your licence back tomorrow... It's just like it was never gone!! *grins*
  12. Someone always has something negative to say about boostcruising but in reality, the only cruises they've attended are cruises that have been broadcast on every other damn car related forum on the interweb. If you took the time to attend the "member" cruises that *I* always invite skylinesaustralia to (which no one ever attends), you might change your attitude.
  13. Uhm, it's these huge cruises that bring the "knob ends" out. Just because it's "boostcruising" doesn't mean it's going to be a bad cruise. You obviously haven't crusied with the members of boost, only the ****wits that think they are associated with it. I get really frustrated when people make comments like this. It's the "hanger ons" that do all the ****ed up things. Not "boostcruising". Think before you speak eh?
  14. Last day over. Now looking forward to the first day at the new place
  15. There aren't any being made atm. If you want one, just go to a sticker maker and get him to make one up. We MIGHT be attending. Depends on what happens with my car tomorrow and if andrew wants to go.
  16. ERGH??!@# We can't go now, Andrew's on call. We'll come to the meeting spot and say hi, but that's about it.
  17. R31 compressor's fit an R33??
  18. Hows stuff dan?
  19. Sorry I didn't get back to you lauren. Our servers all over the state crashed so we had no computer access what so ever. I swear they need computer people who know what they are doing!!!
  20. I have obtained an RB25DETT compressor which looks the same except for a little lug nut that doesn't look like it's been used in it's life, so hopefully this will be the right one and it will get me out of trouble for a while. I've been told that Zexel compressors are the least reliable and the worst compressor. YAY. Just another lemon thing to add to my car's already long list
  21. I wouldnt' take the chance Wayne
  22. See ya tomorrow lauren
  23. *slumps* I just burnt spaghetti... How crap do I feel.
  24. Lauren, It's a second hand jobbie. Can't afford a new one.
  25. I got my aircon compressor this afternoon. Lets hope it fits and works
