I was lucky. Being female and acting dumb paid off.. I got no points taken off and no fine. Just the notice to remove the whistle.. Which I ended up having to put back on so my car would run until I could get it to gavin to fix it properly.

Just reading waynes post.. I was under the impression that every BOV is illegal. No matter how much noise it makes... If the noise factor was the cause, the guys that defected me didn't do anything about it except tell me to take it off.. and if they had have got me to rev it, they wouldn't have heard it working anyway because my standard BOV was connected at the same time, so the BLITZ one was doing nothing.. **** I wish our laws were consistent and people knew (police officers/DOT) knew what they were talking about and gave the same story each time.

I have this to prove that BOV's are illegal. If I had known more about my car and BOV at this stage I would have argued with the cop. But oh well. The boys left me standing there to defend myself and I couldn't!

GO TO GAVIN" no one would have known about him You all know how much I baby my car, and for me to trust him or any of the other mechanics in his workshops says a lot We also need to give recommendation to the other guys in the workshop. They seem to be forgotten when people say "Gavin Woods" yet the other guys do most of the work while gavins off in other parts of the country doing tuning

I'll second this. Speak to Doug. He's done the clutch in the skyline (organic clutch with a 3000pound pressure plate. Best. Clutch. Ever. and he also did the clutch in brutis. It's a 1650pound cable clutch) I can't drive Brutis beacuse the clutch is too damn hard. I think the skyline clutch cost about $300.. not very expensive at all. My clutch is meant to be rated at around 600hp. So it supports my 50hp quite nicely :bahaha:
