  1. Just letting you know; on the weekend of the 25th, 26th and 27th i'll be in Shepparton, for SAU VIC's DECA day. The weekend after (Sat. 2nd September) we have a SAU VIC members cruise (according to the SAU VIC events calender). You have unfortunately picked a busy period to pick up your car. You mentioned 29th and 30th, these are work days and i will not be able to take time off work, so it all depending on what time you arrive. Just let me know time and date, and i'll do my best
  2. Good to hear ranicx
  3. I am thinking more like a week
  4. No prob. Damn you got a big foot
  5. Not too sure what you are trying to say, but i still stay with my previous comments. These calipers look very similar to a R33 GTR Brembo, in size, style and appearance (not colour, unless painted). So to say they are the biggest, is a fulse announcement. Have you compaired these brakes to a R33 GTR Brembo package?
  6. NICE!!!! Should look great Will not be at Calder.
  7. Best notify everyone that you have a 32 . R33s do not have a resivour in the boot.I believe the 4ws only operates when car is in motion
  8. VERY nice Daz, can't wait to see it in the flesh. Doing anything fancy with the colour/paint?
  9. How much notice will you be able to give? If i have enough notice and no other commitments, i'll give you a lift. Just cover the Airport parking fee, etc, and i'll be happy to help out. Plan to come to Tassie soon, for a nice week-long drive , so i'm sure i'll need your help with something .
  10. AT LAST!!!! Now i could plan my Tassie tour with my mates
  11. Happy b'day buddy!!! Hope you got what you wanted
  12. I personally have near seen a pressure plate break. Let alone it happening to the same person twice . What were you doing for the 2 months b4 that?I don't know you, so i am not having a go, but i have seen to many people break their diffs while "reversing out their driveways", just forget/ignore the months of mercyless thrashing and burnouts b4 hand . You will need to inspect the cause/damage b4 passing blame.
  13. How about RB74's
  14. Re-check your claims please. STANDARD R33 GTR rotors and STANDARD GTR Brembo's are 324mm x 30mm and easily fit in 95% of 17" rims. I have seen 345mm rotors fit inside 17" rims, but rim choice is very limited.
  15. How do you know it was the pressure plate? Have you dropped the box and had a look? Follow Thunderbolt's suggestion, ask for a written report from the mechanic then deal with the situation in a diplomatic manner. If you go ahead with "guns blazing", they'll blow your ass with a missle. Not all companies try to rip customers off, try to reason with them first. Who knows, you may be at fault and over heated the clutch, etc. You wont be able to tell till it has been inspected.
  16. I seriously considered it after my rear quarter accident. The first three w/shops were hinting at replacing the quarters, i took it a step further and started to look for GTR quarters . But the last two quotes (from more respectful pannel shops) stated that new quarters were not required. To fit GTR rear quarters is a costly exercise, so i hope you have alot of money to burn . Unlike the front quarter panels, the rears are welded in position. It is a big job and only a top pannel shop (Like Gals or Troy, i'm sure there are others that i never heard of) will pull it off seemlessly. I would only consider it if you currently have a smashed rear end and need to replace the quarters. You will also need to consider buying a new pair of rear wheels with a different offset or using spacers . I personally like the idea and would have done it myself, if i had to buy new pannels Good luck
  17. Is the BOSS kit designed for HICAS?I have used a Tomei Lock kit for the last 2.5yrs, works well and have had no problem. But if your Boss kit is NOT HICAS compatible, the HICAS light may still come on, so you may be required to remove the globe.
  18. HICAS is the 4WS system. Quinny: do you have an aftermarket steering wheel?

We've all been ripped b4. In my younger nieve days i paid twice the going rate for my C's short shifter, through Unique Autosport. I just never deal with those rip off a$$holes again .

HKB Boss kit - Autobarn - $85max - These are the genuine item, made in Japan and distributed by Autotecnica. Cheaper kits may not be HICAS compatable and could cause other issues, including very poor handling . On ebay there are HKB copies (does not have "MADE IN JAPAN" on the packaging), for a $40 saving, is it worth the risk?
  22. Great to read about another HONEST and HARD WORKING mechanic in the Northern/Western area These type of people are few and far between.
  23. Interested Provided quality is reasonable. I have seen a good CHINA copy for a SR20 plenum, but the same manufacturer produced a shit one for the RB25DET
