    Bass Junkys Car

Glad to hear it Pete!! Pics!! And which one did you end up buying from JustJap, as they do not have a R34 listing.
  2. Bump
  3. Feed-back for the unit is going to be extremely hard, as it has only been on the market for about 2 weeks. But from all the reports, info, etc, that i have read/discussed this is going to be a top unit and well worth the money. But remember, an ECU is only as good as the tunner The bugs on my V4 have been fixed, by a simple upgrade to my mechanic's tunning software. My idle is steady, A/C is also steady, and it does not foul up plugs. The V500 is miles better than the V4, and is said to equal or maybe better MOTEC, but only time will tell. On paper, it has the "goods", let's see what happens in practical applications. my 2c
  4. So what page are those entry forms on? My leave has been approved
  5. Looking to purchase a complete set of R33 GTR front and rear calipers. If you have upgraded your brakes and are willing to part with the std set-up, in good conditioned, please PM me. Alan
  6. Have to admit, the RSM is a COOL gadget, just have nowhere to fit it, in my car
  7. Hey David, I think you may have spoken to me at the BBQ, in the park. If i remember correctly it was a FEW months ago (if not last year) and probably on the Sunday morning/lunch time. If that is the case, you took your time joining . Well hope to see ya around and participating at our events. Would be good to have a local guide us round the town's hot spots, after Taco Bells, on the Saturday night.
  8. 7803rpm mine is set to 6800, just to be safe, that is why i am not shy to hit the rev limiter, but hardly ever do.
  9. The mouse can cause no end of trouble . But first make sure your door and boot switches are working properly.
  10. Cool no prob, $280 for the rears
  11. Great weekend!! Thanks to Chris, Pete, and other committee members for organising event. BIG thanks to all instructors for giving me a few helpful pointers. But i am not ever going to have such a big night b4 an event. A 1.4ltr margaretta and half a slab of carrona's with only 4hrs of sleep is not the best way to prep b4 a technical driving event. Had a ball but next time i plan to be more mentaly aware, preferably without the grogey hangover
  12. Last week i barely logged on as i was feverishly working on my car, after work, getting it ready for yesterday's SAU VIC event, Drift 4 Dummies. Admittantly i have done sweet F all with regards to the rim pics and weights. Will get on top of it this week.
  13. As we talked about at EAS, "Better to loose $250 than having to spend another $10,000+ fixing a rust bucket". Hopefully the cheque is genuine and does not bounce :
  14. Bec, unable to make it to the meeting tomorrow, can you also PLEASE bring mine to D4D. Alternatively, if Dave (silva33) is at the meeting, just give it to him as he will be coming to Shep with me on Friday night. Thanks Alan
  15. Dush my attitude to this is starting to sway. You planning to do a pre-meet to encourage others to join you afterwards in some illegal bullshit is just not going to happen! To all SAU VIC members, do what you want in your own time, just remember that you are always representing the club, while the SAU sticker is on your car. If you want to change the attitudes of the public, it is up to you to not participate in illegal drifting, drags, etc. At the end of the day it is your choice, your car and your licence.
  16. Sorry PPL, just got my car back from the mechanic's, after 8 weeks, and spent the whole weekend upgrading the interior . Will get some scales from work and weigh the rims this week. Will then notify all interested parties. (Bowlsclubboy) Troy: Just letting you know that i will not seperate the rims , but will be happy to take some more pics if you are interested in buying all 4. No idea of offset, but they fit inside the 33 gaurds nicely. Would it state the offset anywhere on the rim itself? Yep, tyres are going on replacement rims , will be hitting the track in November at Wakefield and Easterncreek .
  17. Just think for a second; Why has the blue GTR been on sale for so long? Every tom, dick and harry would stop and look at a blue 32GTR, that is for sale, so if it was in any sort of decent condition it would have been sold a loooong time ago. Don't get fooled by his bullshit, get YOUR car or get the money back and go to a trusted importer. You still haven't answered why he didn't replace a $75 dollar battery while he completed all those mods for you.
  18. The meet point is a SHELL service station, just after Craigieburn. This is pretty much the perminant meeting point on the HUME as you can use the new Hwy extension to bypass Campbellfield/Craigiburn and skip all the lights. This is the first servo after the merge of the old Hwy and the new Hwy.
  19. I'm keen to come up for the cruise on Sat., but need to check if i am "on call" that weekend.
  20. If you are after perfomance ditch the 19's and get the light weight 18's.
  21. 'cuz it lookz fully sik bro! *sorry couldn't help myself * Have you looked under your car? R33's have a very weirdly shaped tank, unlike the commonwhores. If you ARE only after the look, best get an aliminum cover made up with red or blue fake bracing. If that is the case i retract my appology
  22. I have a std S1 grill, if you are interested PM me with an offer, not sure what these sell for :. We can meet up at the SAU VIC Club meeting on Tuesday.
  23. Rekin, neat looking car. Don't worry EAS will go over it properly and point out any faults; and they don't have any cars to sell . Have you made an appointment? as Vic and George get very busy . All the best buddy, hope to see ya on a few SAU cruises.
  24. Sounds good Dush, i'll come down for a visit
  25. Ian, the last two links/files are not working, can you please fix . Al Great read by the way, good to see you found a solution.
