  2. BUMP: Just helpin you out Max
  3. I will vouch for MAX and his sweet ride. PS: Disappointed to see that you are still selling it .
  4. If you get the middle cut off, make sure you reseal the holes to make it look neat. I did and it look mad, cops may not pick it either as there is no cut metal showing. My 2c
  5. OK, i felt this topic too open. What i ment was that Millions of dollars are spent by the manufacturers to make an ecu run the engine and other parts, IN STANDARD FORM, really smoothly. This includes, cold, warm and hot start ups, fuel economy, a/c, and a whole lot of other shit. I am very pleased with the running of my ecu and have no further problems, but with a R32 on can modify just the required areas/fields of the map to receive a VERY similar result. Just my 2c Alan
  6. I will be interested, at another date, too short notice. Hope it's soon
  7. What he fails to mention is that this is a truck desel turbo, with a compressor turbine smaller than a std R33 turbo and an exhaust A/R rating of about 1.0+. STOP wasting peoples time and state all facts!! You sounded surprised when i told you, but i figured that you got ripped and now you are trying to load it off.
  8. I am seeing it at the cinima wit me club, so i will give gold class a miss, i would have come to the drive-ins for a cruise and the atmosphere, but you raise a VERY valid point! I will post up ALL the details, of the movie, on Sunday. Just to be a prick and spoil it for you all! C YA! Alan
  9. I am very happy with the Wolf 3D plug-in myself. Do a search on both ecu's and you will find a wealth of information. If you have a R32 why change you ecu, just get it rechipped? Even though i am very pleased with the wolf, it can never run as smoothly as the factory ecu. My problem was that R33 are not programmable.
  10. i will also keep a look out, buddy
  11. figured it out, remove the comma
  12. That link did not work, can you please check it thanks.
  13. But what good turboed performance cars existed b4 'and during '88?
  14. Also: outdoor storage + car covers + rain/cold = condensation which will lead to rust. Personally i do not like car covers as they also rub on the paint work
  15. Thanks for the info, really helpful! Just a request. What '88 model performance cars are avaliable? As i am unsure what cars come out b4 and during this year. Did the R32 gtst come out in '88 and are there any heavily modified examples?
  16. BETTER IDEA!! Go to the $2 shop or supermarket and by one of those cheap tupperware(sp?) type plastic bowls and cut in half. One half for each speaker.
  17. I used a 4" cathode hooked up to my Wolf 3D. Placed it under my tacho and is very discrete, alot of people don't even notice it till show it to them.
  18. 5 & 6 Great job there buddy!

Northern Street Cruizers (my car club) are having a HUGE observation cruise. This cruise is different to most as, after registering you are given a MAP/route and also a questionair. The idea is to follow the detailed route/instructions and as you are cruising answer the questions provided. Most questions relate to landmarks/objects that are seen at various points. A generous time frame is given to complete the cruise, as to have everyone meet up at the final point for a supplied BBQ. At this stage NOVA are coming along to join in and report/promote the cruise. DETAILS: DATE: Sunday, 15th June, 2003 START/REGISTER: Skyways car park, Westfeild S/C., Airport West. MEL Ref: pg:16 A4 TIME: 9:30am - 10:30am (register closes at 10:30am) FINISH/BBQ: A park on Wellington Rd., S.E. Suburbs. 25. I too have the unfortunate pleasure of seeing that celica frequently. To make it worse there is another identical celica in my area, but with light pascal green strips, mirrors, etc., looks even worse. If i had a digi cam i would post it. Man, these are what gives the west a bad name!
