Between EBC and mechanical valve, I'd go EBC. It holds boost better and doesn't spike as much. Also you have to re-adjust mechanical in summer and winter due to air temp difference. But I'm running standard minus restrictor at the moment cause I've got no plans to go past 1 bar yet.

For the money RB74 are at, you can't complain much. Noise is the draw back of having a pad like that. If you hate the noise, stay away from racebrakes Comp 9's. They're the best pads I've used so far. RB74's last longer than comp 9's, but comp 9's brake that little bit better at very high speeds. I find the RB74's better than the green stuff, but it's noisy and heaps of dust. For the circuit, RB74. For street green stuff. Endless NAM, absolute crap!
