Noticed that my car was only running 8psi of boost after I installed the Apexi Power FC computer. Strange as I ran 14psi before with the stock ECU. I also noticed the exhaust temp guage light on all the time. I just assumed that the sensor was stuffed. Anyhow, I pulled out the manual started reading and the red light means something is wrong. So with the hand controller unit I do a diagnositcs on the engine and it says that the boost is faulty..... WTF can this be??? :confused: Checked out the paramaters and bingo, the tuner set the computer to run boost from the Apexi Boost control kit which I DON"T HAVE!!! Last time I going there. Anyhow, being a hot day today (summer in Aust at the moment) I decided to see if I was right and took the long way home. DAMN!! I'm running 255 wide tyres on all 4 corners and it's struggling to keep traction around corners. Distance between corners also seem smaller now :confused: Now she's running 14psi and the annoying light is off. Just wanted to say that not all tuners know their sh*t.

Buying here costs more. Dealers put up their profit margins. But you can test drive it and inspect it before you pay for it, by buying here. Your choice, good luck dude.

Just driving around today I noticed that chroming your petrol cover makes your car faster. This is because by chroming that part of the car, air will travel easier over that surface, thus improving aerodynamic efficency.

Changed both front and rear on mine. I got the adjustable ones. Turn in is heaps better. Body roll on fast corners is reduced, and if I want to hang the back out, just apply power and a little turn of the wheel. Best mod on any car. I've done this on my WRX and my Daewoo. Go through twisty roads and HP means shit. I've left a few highly modded cars in the dust with the Daewoo. For GTS-T, change the front bar if you only want to do one. But for best results change both. And just for the record, Strut braces (on top of the engine bay) only increases chassis rigidity. It doesn't stop bodyroll. That's the swaybars job.

I'll be the first not to go on about SR vs. RB. Skyline gets votes for handling. Double wishbone vs Strut, take your pick. I'd go wishbone. Chassis. Not keen on R33 as it's not hardcore (personal preference), but the 180 doesn't feel that firm. Lines are have a more communicative chassis. Brakes, 4 pot and 2 pot for lines, 2 and single for 180. I love my brakes, and bigger/more is always better.

I met him when I got my car tuned at C&V. He was getting a boost controller installed. Not my kinda car. I like sleepers. Not straight line sleepers, circuit ones.
