  1. I'm looking at 245/40-19's.. Kuhmo KU31 for $205 a corner or Yokohama EP400 for $230. Paul, I really don't know my tyres but how about Kuhmo KU19's? http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/18INCH-245-45-18-kumho-ku-19-100y-/130572666135?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item1e66bcc517
  2. Pretty retard move on my behalf. The bolt was a tough one to come off, had a little slit through some of the threads. When I threaded it back on by hand it went a good ten or so turns and then stopped. I figured the thread would come good given just a bit of force and before I knew it I had a very useless piece of metal. Followed your measurements Dale and they are WAY off hahah. I'm sure I screwed up something. The front end is slammed while the rear end is slightly lower than stock. Might raise the front this weekend otherwise I'll just wait until my wheels rock up.
  3. Can you believe I found one in a tub at an import wreckers?
  4. Me and working on cars in a rush does not mix. Just stuffed a high tensile bolt using a little bit too much force. Need more patience! Anyone know if 55110FB and 55269+D in this picture is the same as any other Nissan? I've seen this type of bolt before, maybe just on my C34 Stagea. Any suggestions as to where to get one? Try and get one from Nissan or just go to a fasteners place?
  5. Thanks Brad.. I've pulled out the head unit and made sure everything is connected so my next guess is power. Cheers Mike!
  6. I have a tendency to speed read.
  7. Sorry I should really keep all of the questions/info here.. What is involved with the rear spring removal in the M35? can you just take the outer bolt out of the "lower spring mount" and that is enough to drop the spring out or is there more to it?
  8. I went through him and to be honest it was a pretty smooth transaction and they arrived way faster than I thought they would. Hopefully it works out for you mate. So what is the game plan for rear spring removal? Do you need spring compressors?
  9. When you figure out how to make it work let me know. Mine is useless. Pioneer screen goes black when it kicks into reverse but no images.
  10. Excellent! What size tyres are you running?
  11. This thread needs more pics of spoolin's car!
  12. Nevermind I found it! 17x7 +45, 215/55's...
  13. Massive thread dig but I figure it's best keeping the info in one spot. Does anyone know what the standard 17" M35 wheel width and offset are?
  14. With such massive brakes on the front end, surely your bias would be a bit off.
  15. Yep the teal colour and those wheels look mint. Top work!
  16. If I change my exhaust I will wire it up to my exhaust switch so there's a "sports" mode (off).
  17. Agreed. The M35 Info thread had potential (http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/185569-m35-info/) but whatever, I'd read it all now (I think). Would be great to see the M35 stuff as organised as the C34 info.
  18. Spotted a blue M35 with tan interior in Edinburgh Parks this morning on the way to work. Might be the one from Sinergy Motorsport?
  19. Drained a bit to make the job easier - probably around 500ml. Added around 200ml afterwards.
  20. Humour me - by removing the factory radiator (losing the transmission cooler), and then installing a 11"x7-1/2"x3/4" transmission cooler, along with about 800mm of extra hose total, surely the system would need more fluid? At the moment the dipstick doesn't show any dark fluid on it, which is exactly what is draining from the trans cooler hoses, but appears to have a heap of fluid on it - up to the little s bend in the dipstick. Is this a problem with topping up from the dipstick? I've read on the G35 forums that the dipstick is pretty hard to read, but if anyone has any advice I'd like to hear it.
  21. Yahoo Auctions... Not cheap! Should come in handy though.
  22. Cargo net went in today too
  23. Good call on the heat, might give that a shot sometime.
  24. TONS! Best thing I did was relocate the horns to the side, gives you a shedload of room to work with. I should really stop being so lazy and just take a decent photo. If I get time, I will tonight!
