  1. Lowest I've seen so far in my M35 is 10.7/100km. Highest I've seen is 12.7/100km. That said, in this time there's been a lot of idling while bleeding the cooling system, checking oil levels, etc.
  2. Avants. Tricky to get though.. I saw the Varrstoens but they weren't concave enough for my liking. Or the other ones had the dish which wasn't for me. There are a few others. Monotec I think they are called. And then Aluflugens I think. As per spoolin's recommendation, 245/40's. I think from memory 265/35 would have been ideal rolling diameter but maybe lacked the minimal amount of stretch that mine have (really it is barely noticeable, you have to look hard to see it)
  3. yep that should work. don't bother searching for specific things in IM since it's not searching in english, only japanese.
  4. Yeah ended up going with them in the end after you were talking about the wheel bearing. From all accounts they seem to be a good value to performance trade off. If they are noisy I'll just have to deal with it. Ended up going for 19x9.5+20 after speaking with Chris (spoolin12). Seems like pretty safe fitment - any further and it's hassles.
  5. That's the idea to be honest. I love Japanese cars but our good friends in the police force don't, so I'm trying to make this car look as tough as I can without attention from the boys in blue. Euro all the way.
  6. I was going to keep it quiet until I got them on the car but I can't keep secrets. I'll leave you all guessing.
  7. Tyres are on wheels. Rear guards will need lipping before they go on though.
  8. May/may not have just bought some Bride seat rails. Impulse buy?
  9. Too easy. Thanks Scott.
  10. Just following up on this, does anyone have suggestions for a banjo bolt that is already the right size? I don't have a drill press and it could be a while until I get to one. Seems like a sketchy thing to do without one (I don't even have a vice at the moment!)..
  11. Yeah see I'm fine with that every other day of the week, but the little switch is a nice thing to have. Especially while driving interstate to get rid of the drone. Out of curiosity, what are the Blitz cat backs worth?
  12. This sounds good. So would the midpipe replace the baffles? I want to get rid of that. Do you know if his system has a cat too? Think it would be a lot louder replacing the standard dump (cat), midpipe (cat) and box of baffles with just a cat?
  13. Did you do it Andy? If so, what did you run before the muffler? Dump, hi-flow cat, muffler? Or another muffler as well?
  14. Yours painted yet? $150 at All Type Crash...
  15. Yep the drift one is white. http://www.performancecar.co.nz/articles/2001-nissan-stagea-300rx-fresh-and-clean-158
  16. Speaking of which, Slippy and I were both talking about running a dump on the standard exhaust. Are there power gains to be seen from running an aftermarket dump on the factory exhaust? Would it be more hassle than it's worth running a custom system from the turbo back to the factory "sports" muffler? I know that the factory exhaust weighs a ton so I figure it's worthwhile getting rid of, but I quite like the fact that I can press a button and my exhaust goes quiet, but if it's going to significantly impact the gains it's just a waste of money trying to keep it..
  17. White M35 AXIS on Bridge Rd this morning.
  18. Hard job? The space saver would be trouble with the different wheels, wouldn't it? Think it would be alright to limp it to the next major town (could be 200km?) on a long drive to get the tyre fixed/replaced?
  19. What is involved with putting the M35 into RWD mode? Can you simply pull a fuse or does a wire need to be cut? Once the new wheels go on, in theory the space saver will be the wrong size for the Atessa system, so I figure I could pull the fuse and shouldn't have any problems.. correct?
  20. Piked makes it sound like I didn't do anything. I wish! Haven't had a weekend off since being back in Australia..
  21. Great thread! I have a fold out single DIN TV/DVD/GPS at the moment. I'm really keen to replace it with an OEM unit and a single DIN that will display through it. I just checked out my car and nope, there's no way that one of those long powered subs could fit under the tool box. A small enough amp could definitely fit on the right hand side though.
  22. Oh so the standard Bose unit isn't powered? Has external amps?
  23. Has anyone pulled up parts 84907 and 84906P before? Click for image. Think there would be enough room to fit a sub like this under there?
