I'm using 3.6 and I also suffer from all of these issues. Have to use IE to browse the site as it is just completely non functional in 3.6 Hope the patches are run soon otherwise the list of people experiencing these issues is going to grow and grow. Took me over a week to bother to even look for this thread, so I imagine that there are quite a few other users experiencing this that just haven't posted here yet.

What are you talking about then if not shagged street tyres that have gone bald? We clearly aren't talking about racing slicks. A bald street tyre will perform worse in ALL situations compared to when it was new, there is not one circumstance where it would give more grip. A racing slick is _completely_ different to a slicked road tyre.

Note: I have copied this advertisement from another thread as it is an identical item, the photos are not of my actual unit however it looks identical minus the aem and HP stickers. I can sms (mms) you photos of the actual unit from my phone if you want, however they are not amazing quality. I can get better quality photos in a week or so if required. Condition: Works perfectly, a few scratches and a bit of glue where a sticker was removed, apart from that it is in as new condition. Price: $850 ono To Fit: R33 GTS-T with RB25DET or R32 skyline, it is plug and play for R33, with R32 a few modifications need to be made. Location: Adelaide, South Australia I am selling my Wolf 3DV4(V400) Revision 7, Plug and Play ECU without the Hand Controller to suit R33 GTS-T. The current map on the ecu has been tuned for a series 1 RB25DET with a GCG highflow turbo @ 10psi, FMIC, aftermarket rail with GTR injectors and magnaflow fuel regulator and a 500hp walbro fuel pump. Some details on the Wolf unit (collected from other posts): The Wolf 3D Version 4 is fully 3D tunable for both fuel and ignition timing! These ECU's are an excellent unit with incredible tuning resolution, both ignition and fuel can be adjusted every 125rpm with 16 different load bands. This compares very well compared to Microtech that can only be changed every 500rpm with less load points. Having such a fine tuning resolution is perfect for getting the most out of your modified engine. No need for a Z32 AFM with this ECU, simply remove your AFM all together. Overall this ECU provides sharp, crisp throttle response whilst still maintaining factory drivability e.g smooth idle, fuel economy, cold start etc, something impossible with many of the competitors ECUs. Some of the benefits of fitting a Wolf 3D V4: Make the most out of your modifications Excellent drivability, Wolf 3D V4 features full cold start and air temperature adjustments Easily retuned if you change a modification Crisp and smooth idle Excellent fuel economy Ability to remove AFM. ECU is MAP sensor based so no need for a Z32 or the airflow restriction a AFM causes Boost controller can operate with factory solenoid Can run multiple Maps with live map switching while the engine is running(Power Map, Economy Map, or Low Octane fuel) Excellent fuel economy Specs: Tune from PC Software Maximum Engine Speed 20,000RPM Fuel Map every 125RPM to 16,000RPM Fuel Map has 16 Load Bands Ignition Map every 125RPM to 16,000RPM Ignition Map has 16 Load Bands Idle Speed Control with Water Temperature Compensation Sequential Fuel Injection Attached are a number of pics. Can post goods are buyers expense or item can be picked up from Adelaide. Can contact me (Roland) via mobile on <removed> or via PM here.

Uh... no they won't. Once tyres have gone bald they have almost certainly gotten very very hard and be uneven. They will give terrible performance in that state.

Going Through Regency And Need An Emissions Test, Where?

Thanks guys will give willall a call. Damo who is Rory Thompson? -
I am taking an R32 through regency in a few weeks as it has come from Vic and has an RB25 in it which is not registered with. I have done all the modifications required to pass (hopefully) however I need to get an emissions test to propve the motor is unmodified. I have just had the car tuned at boostworx however they do not have the equipment to do an emissions test so I am curious who I should go to? Is there anyone where who can do this sort of thing for me cheap? or perhaps recommend a workshop that can do it. It just needs the CO2 and hydrocarbon levels measured at idle to make sure they dont exceed their ppm values. It also needs to be signed by the company with their name on it as well so it does have to be official.

I haven't written the code yet so they won't do anything. What I meant by working is the boards are functional and can turn FET on and off to control a solenoid. I have no idea how much current is needed however and what kind of voltage so that needs to be tested along with actually writing the code. Shouldn't be too much work but until then unless you can program C for a dsPIC microcontroller they wont be much use.

Ive designed a PCB and its working but I had a set back with my car and money so I haven't actually been able to test it. The stock ECU and nistune only got fitted a few days ago to it so once I have it on the road I will be able to wire it up and start testing. Not sure of a timeline, basically whenever I get free time off uni I will work on it. Will let everyone know once I get something useful working. edit: I can post up the schematic if anyone here can program PICs and wants to have a play themselves.

What is the difference between the two TPS setups? I have installed an rb20ecu with a nistune in my 32 with a series2 rb25, now the tuner says that I need a series 1 tps/throttle body for it to work. Now I have sourced one and I am picking it up tomorrow but I would like to be able to check it and confirm that it is indeed a series1 tb/tps. From what I heard the s1 is a linear sensor where as the s2 one is an on/off style tps, why would they have downgraded going to the series 2 motor? Either way is there anyway to distinguish the two apart?

Its part of the throttle body, a little black connector with 3 wires I think on it, basically tells the ECU how far open the throttle is. How much would you want for it? I can come pick it up during the week or if you want to meet somewhere, would love to get fairly soon if you still have it. Thanks

I need a throttle body and throttle position sensor from a series 1 RB25, if anyone has one could you call me on <removed> or PM me on here. Thanks!

Are there any other ECUs that allow adding an extra axis to the fuel/timing map? -
The reason it says it is for an rb20 is because it is for the rb20 loom and sensors, it doesn't matter if you have a 5L 6cyl engine in there, it will be be able to tune it providing all the sensors and connections are the same.

Wrong oil wont kill a box (unless you are using engine or diff oil by accident). My mate ran no oil for about 700kms in his rx2, was noisy as hell but it didn't die and is going strong now that its filled up.

If you are running a high duty cycle on your injectors you might have to upgrade them as well skline01999
