    If you can jack the car up onto just the front wheels, give the rear wheels a bit of a spin and if theres slack or it clunks then Id say its your diff/tailshaft, otherwise probably bushes as suggested, they are very cheap to replace. Diff can vary. Unlikely to be the gearbox, unless its crunching etc.

    Yes that is the stock bov, the smaller tube is a line for vacuum so that it knows when to open, the bigger one is where it vents the air. Blocking off the 2nd one so it doesnt have anywhere to go would probably do it. However blocking off the smaller one may make it never open or stay open always, not all that sure. The other tube I have no idea but my redtop rb20 had one as well. Probably a vacuum control for something.

    catalytic convertor maybe? when they are shagged they can rattle make or make weird vibrations.

    If its big end bearings youll be up for a fair wack, take it to a mechanic asap and get their oppinion. Dont want the bearing to go and end up with a snapped conrod if thats what it is.

    They changed turbos? redtop rb20 turbos are different to silvertop ones

    your not giving us enough info to work with mate. What was the details of your old setup, what rpm do you class as laggy, how much do you have to spend etc.

    Hold on the AFM plus was lose and you took the entire intake off? Im lost as to what you did, and how it killed the engine? Also thats really bad luck man. Alot of money there.

    haha yeah its a 31, you think thats a decent skid? Ive got a video of a rb30e sitting on the limiter for 4 minutes and the only thing that broke was the tyres and blew the radiator cap off.

    Not only does it look shit hot but it must sound shit hot with a rb20det in there, best sounding nissan engine ever I say. What made you change over from the sr20?

    Once you stiffen up the suspension it reduces it alot however.

    How long would an engine last on that sort of power providing the tune isnt too bad and its not pinging/overheating? Say if you were reaching 7500 on a regular basis

    Do you have an incar boost guage? If so does it read any boost when your floor it? Pretty easy way to tell if you've lost your exhaust wheel etc.
