  1. Both have very different CAS. You could modd the early disc but would be hard to get right.
  2. Missinglink has an RB25 non VVT head, send him a PM.
  3. If your SOR try Garage101, 93555101. They do Nistune for R33 manuals and Autos.
  4. I use many Race gear sets and recommend PPG only in the R33 GTS/GTR gearbox only, SR20 PPG IS a weak Toy, They dont even take what the stock SR box can. I have seen 300rwhp kill them after a very short time. Modena is the best for most cars. Our S14A IPRA Racecar Uses the RB25 box with the Kiwi made adapter kit.
  5. Platinum is in my Top 4 list. Link/Vipec, SM4 Autonic, Platinum Haltech. Motec. USA AEM works for me also.
  6. R33 GTS with PPG gearset.
  7. Intake, Exhaust and Intercooler upgrade matched to a Nistune (Z32) ECU update will give very good performance gains at a good price and wont kill the bank or the car.
  8. Ive found them a good thing but the Best? No way, top 4 yes.
  9. Pink Densos from 13B Turbos (Pre FD) approx 600cc and 13ohms,
  10. I see the thread still says Australian made,Is NZ an Australian state now?
  11. Yep, no worrys.
  12. I dont even go past 260 cams in my race engines. Ants 2.6 was a full second faster over the 1/4 than his 2.8 was. The best RB26 blocked GTR I ever saw was a Tomei 2.8 with GT SS Turbos and 260 Tomei cams with all the right support parts, this car is owned by a guy that always had V8s and hated the lack of bottom end power the Stocker had, His order was build a package that you would build for your own car. Response is amazing and the car would eat much wilder cars.
  13. Run 12v to the VVT and BAC and the Haltech will switch negative,This is why there is only one wire to the ECU.
  14. Dr Drift is a Nistune Dealer. Nistune still say no R33 ready yet but to be sure contact them tomorrow.
  15. KW have been the best of the mid Budget market but we are looking to run 57s Long track at Barbagallo (Best to date is 60.04 on Damp track) and the next step up is moving to Coote suspension,Im surprised we got this far on Just Jap and KW suspension parts.
  16. Last week we still couldn't buy R33.
  17. No Nistune for R33 GTS yet, Still need to use R32 or Z32,No VVT on R32 tho.
  18. I'm waiting for Spool to release their 3.4 cranks for RB30s, RB34= More of a good thing and still much cheaper than Jap 2.8s. Strong early power makes for a much nicer and faster drive.
  19. The AAC does work with Remap but as you have R32 ECU you have no VVT , Ive seen some Dodgy Perth tuners ground the VVT so its on full time causing shit Idle and lack top end power. R33s need to use Z32 ECUs with remap.
  20. Looks like the Shitter from the old Corvette summer move from the late 70s. Im Voting Datto 240Z
  21. Sounds more like the Gearbox or Thrust bearing?
  22. Z32 ECU and Nistune and your set.
  23. Haltech Platinum and Autronic SM4 will drive them.
  24. I use Nistune at my workshop. I use Z32 ECUs in R33 GTSt and swap a few wires.R32 will not support VVT but Z32 does. R33 GTR use R32 GTR ECU. Nothing comes close to Nistune in a good Streetcar, No matter what the price but your lucky Nistune is by far the cheapest.
  25. Murray coote stuff is the ducks guts. He is building the Proflex for the S13 racecar ive posted on this forum to replace the KWs. KW is the closest to fitting your budget but Id recommend finding the extra for Coote kit. Just under $7000 and that comes with support most others dont. Murrays son is running an S14 Track car. I have Olhins for my GTR, Shocks are perfect but need to replace springs with softer ones.
