  1. That flame guard stuff is useless if it gets too close to the manifold, mine has dried out and just crumbles when you touch it. -10 on the drain will be fine ATP, GCG etc all sell an drain adaptors for around $30-40 and I'm using a speedflow adaptor out of the block (currently rubber on a hose tail but will be repacing shortly).
  2. Wonder what they would have made with a 3.5" dump
  3. It obviously upsets Martin that someone might choose a Porsche over a Nissan, and then have the nerve to not take it racing.
  4. From his list, the only differences to my pos are the 3" dump (3.5), 76mm china cooler (100mm) and obv the 26 head. I'm not sure about simmo but most of the guys I know making over 400rwkw are running 3.5 or 4" drain pipes.
  5. must go - best offer over 650
  6. I can't believe people are seriously considering these manifolds. I ran a chinese version of the hpi manifold pictured on p1 years back on an rb20/td06 set-up. After chasing my tail for a few months wondering why it wasn't making any power I came to my senses and stuck the stock manifold back on - and instantly found 60+ rwhp.
  7. sorry mate - not sure.. the injectors are brand new = unused at 800 - will include a set of used clips with pigtails
  8. they are high impedence 2 hole top feeds - purple tops $900 delivered cheers
  9. rear rotors sold. offers on the rest
  10. Not 100% sure if these are dba, the slot design resembles rda hence price drop to reflect. front rotors 200 rear rotors 100
  11. R32 GTR calipers, front and rear. Good working condition, come with almost new bendix on the rear and ~50% worn (kentex from memory) on the front. DBA slotted rotors front and rear. I'm fairly sure the fronts are 4000 series and the rears street series, but honestly can't remember. The following is stamped on the rotors Part # front: 43780, min thk: 30mm Part # rear: 31097, min thk: 16mm Rotors measure as new on the verniers (done <1000km on the car), ie 32mm front, 18mm rear. F&R Calipers 350ono Front rotors 300ono Rear rotors 200ono PM or email [email protected]. Pick-up in Ardross, WA.
  12. Nice result Paul, you should be pretty pleased. As you've already mentioned both your 35r and t04z are laggier than they 'could' be (comparing to the results of others) be so some tweaking of the boost control etc should beef up the 4-5000rpm area nicely. All the talk of which is quicker would be quashed if someone has the time to plot both of pauls plots in excel then calculate the average power over the usable rev-range (say 5k - revlimit). So comparing my straight fit cam, stock head rb26 with your all out jun 2.7?
  13. I'm chasing drive shafts and possibly stub axles - are yours 4 or 5 bolt?
  14. Really? http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Ne...ue-t289555.html
  15. Sounds like your language and comprehension skills are about as good as toms esl! Buying from Jap auctions is cheap but not without its risks, if you bought without having someone fluent in Japanese read the auction you have no grounds to complain.
  16. I agree but then in a recent thread the majority of r3c owners were saying they're easy to use. Certainly not my experience!
  17. Interesting that the asking price for a gt35 t4 ts is double that.
  18. If they did indeed run hardness tests (very simple) then you can make a good approximation of the tensile strength. Given casting flaws are one of the main drivers for fatigue cracking I think you can be pretty comfortable based on the x-ray results. Other than (expensive and time consuming) fatigue testing the only other thing you could possibly do is get a metallurgist to take a look at the microstructure (something the distributor might donate a wheel for perhaps).
  19. The xr6 turbo will support 400rwhp without any problems - it does need some wg mods to hold boost though. I had one on a 26 and it was a great deal laggier than the .82 gt35 I have now. Have a look on the vl turbo forums, thats where my old xr6 turbo sold too. If you're budget limited look into bw stuff... I priced a gt35 equivalent at 1300 landed - I'm sure they could be had cheaper of ebay etc and by all accounts they match or out perform the garrett gear (and you save on water lines )
