  1. Comment was made tongue in cheek rob!
  2. Imagine how much quicker it would be with a Vipec! But back OT, from what your saying Mr Baron, you guys are seeing exceptional low rpm performance from the big 9180, so much so you would be happy to see more lag with a larger turbo. So realistically for someone such as myself also running a 3litre but only aiming for 550rwhp with a power ceiling around 600rwhp the extra expense of say an 8374 over a traditional t4 ts gt35/s300sx doesn't seem worth it (if you follow my logic). Obviously in a forum pissing contest it's a no brainer, but on the racetrack...?

  4. Have had a bit of interest however no sale yet so dropped the price for quick sale $550
  5. someone out there must want these!
  6. sorry about the shit iphone pics
  7. perth, happy to post australia wide for $15 express
  8. pair, complete with pins and pads $650ono
  9. I had the same concern (and plenty of others) with the ATP twin scroll housing. It's certainly not a budget option - as far as I could find it was the ONLY option if you want a t4 twin scroll rear for a gt35. I could have made it work but decided the swearing come time to try and get a spanner on the water/oil lines simply wasn't worth it - so I sold the housing and the gt35. A borg warner s300sx delivers nearly identical results with a much larger/easier to work on foot print. Btw I spoke to ATP about the problem at the time and was satisfied with there response which I've included below.
  10. slightly negotiable... would haver thought these quality rims would have got snapped up straight away.
  11. Really... what do you pay for argo's?
  12. as per title. strong/light one piece forged rims whith as much brake clearance of any 17 $2000 rims only, located in wa however can post if required
  13. Magnaflow make 3.5 and 4" mufflers, reasonably priced from Summit. 3.5" should be more than enough for 400rwkw with an open wastegate, but that being said 4" is a more common size so the bends tend to be easier to find and for that reason cheaper as well (I had a great deal of difficulty sourcing 3.5" bends). I had my bosch 1600's flow tested with almost no measureable difference (less than 1/3 the price of ID's). You can be reasonably sure the plenum will be responsible for much larger variations than the injectors so if this is a major concern run an ecu capable of trimming fuel delivery to individual cylinders and run an egt on each exh manifold runner.
  14. I also used rentracecar, Heide and Theo are very friendly people. My only advice in addition to the above would be to rock up at opening time as that will get you some clear laps, and if it's raining even better as like the baron said most of the guys prefer to sit in the carpark rather than risk binning it.
  15. Risking is correct, I have a half registered as a 2 seater in WA.
  16. Yeh I was hinting at the manifold mods required to make a 6boob/44mm combo work
  17. Weren't you guys running larger wastegates to help with boost control? I guess this will also depend on the manifold Snozzle is planning to run.
  18. I had the same problem with a 0.82ar gt35, 3.5" exh with a tial 44mm and the gate welded as per Roy's post. The problem & fix are pretty well documented so I'm surprised you weren't made aware by Kyle when making the purchase..... The main problem we had when tuning was massive boost creep at higher rpm.
  19. Can you elaborate on this? Did you have a personal difference or was the machining sub standard (if so in what way).
  20. The workshop putting together an external oil pump kit for me strongly advised against using an external filter block due to the poor design. Can't say I paid it much thought at the time given the number of folks running them but these guys do build a lot of race/drift motors.
  21. My set-up was under 1k when the dollar was pretty weak, only downside is the outputs can't be fed into the ecu so I have to log egt separate to everything else. The kits come with everything you need inc the bungs, no need for custom bits.
  22. thermocouples...
