  1. Yeh that was a typo, should read fuel p vs. map and oil p vs rpm.
  2. The uras kit hangs very low at the rear so it's effectively a big air brake. Going to be running sensors for fuel and oil pressure through the ecu rather than the more basic pressure switch set-up to protect the engine. Not sure exactly how this will be set-up at this stage though - fuel pressure will need to be mapped vs rpm. Sensors are 1/8 npt, this is the port for fuel pressure. 1/2" (8an) fuel feed line will also be added and planning to use the standard 6an return line.
  3. Still here, make a reasonable offer.
  4. Thanks Steve. Stock rear and keeping the rest as is, would consider 31house stuff as a last resort if it looks too odd but not on the radar at the moment. The front sits nice and low which should make a front undertray fairly easy to put together. I'm trying to avoid doing anything which doesn't bring it closer to running at this stage.
  5. The current diff mount was cut from steel equal angle into which we drilled a couple of holes I did some googling and z31parts have beefed up there diff mounts, the new ones look a lot more robust. I'm sticking with solid though, it's not a daily so the noise is tolerable. Just got the dash back from flocking:
  6. Hey Brad, hope the wedding went well mate. Drop me a line about that head when you get a chance if you can
  7. Optima finally sold. Just the wheels to go
  8. Very nice work mate, looks pretty neat from this angle Thanks Brad - few more. Lower gate pipe It's a good fit Clint also added a bracket to stop it moving around now there's a flexi and remounted the muffler up higher to suit the standard rear bumper
  9. Nope, he was ok with working on it at my place luckily. Job's all done now, very happy with how it's come together - hopefully get some pics tonight.
  10. Moving along here with some real progress thanks to clint/panik who has been working on the exh and wg plumbing. It's coming together very nicely. Also picked up a battery from the US through NST - good pricing and prompt delivery. Should save a few kg's over the optima that was in there previously. The business end of the fuel system is coming together.
  11. A fairly normal result for a .82 gt35 I would have thought?
  12. I can deliver the wheels to most cities in aus for 1450, or 1350 pickup/you arrange courier. Very cheap for what are one of the lightest jap racing wheels!
  13. Wheels and battery still available. Next person to ask for detailed photo's, negotiate on price, get shipping quotes then go awol get's named and shamed.
  14. The old man is selling his f truck if anyone is looking for a good tow rig. Privately hoping it doesn't sell so I don't lose access to it though! http://perth.gumtree.com.au/c-Cars-Vehicles-Motorbikes-Parts-cars-2002-FORD-F150-XLT-5-4L-V8-W0QQAdIdZ351916129
  15. Unique autosports do one as well, identical to Stuarts first pic.
  16. Try Gav - he's a regular poster on here and from memory is running a trust pump.
  17. I'd be welding a short extension to the comp cover to get the joiner away from the dp, easily done given your using ally for the piping and will cost next to nothing as part of the bigger piping job. They must have lifted there game, they coated a manifold for me years ago and the coating started flaking after a few dyno runs.
  18. Agreed. I don't think many of them do the speed series events but plenty of the AL guys are in high hp gtr's that get punted regularly at no limits events etc. The thing they all seem to have in common is xspeed so they must have there head around the problem.
  19. Out of interest have you done a leak down test on the engine? When I spoke to your engine builder about taking on my build he suggested ~20% leakdown was a good result for a new engine.
  20. From fatz stockpile of carbon bits The diff mount was from z31parts but it failed in fairly dramatic fashion so I wouldn't recommend one. It was replaced with a solid mount..which reminds me I need to find solid alloy subframe bushes to replace the nolathane ones which allow the subframe to move too much.
  21. So I made good use of the long weekend, progress! But sadly still no head some 4 months later Rebuilt brake & clutch masters fitted Dummied up the flares Lower rad hose adaptor for the rad breather tank from garage7. Mocked up the new oil filter location Found homes for the rad breather tank, accusump and fpr.... the accumulator is friggin enormous! Also fitted up the plenum so it's ready for IC piping to be made. Getting closer! Shame it's not my engine And put the seats back in so we can fabricate a hardness bar Time for the fab work and hopefully some wiring.
  22. Have you considered the hankook dot slick from tire rack? Around the 200 a corner mark which is ku36 money. I haven't heard of anyone using them locally though...
