  1. The broken wing was APR, but it appeared to fail due to a lot of lateral movement in the mounts so not really a wing quality issue. The car it was on was very quick but among the roughest I saw with wing mounts mig'd directly to the rear qtr's.
  2. First wing failure and spin of the weekend in the first session!
  3. Nemo evo going quick already?
  4. I'm not sure how bad yours is but putting a solid diff mount in mine took me from not hearing any diff noise to being all I can hear!
  5. A few more updates - this project has taken a back seat lately but I manage to squeeze an hour or two in occasionally. Getting to like rivnuts - used them to mount the battery Tried to make a start on the new fuel feed line but straightening it is as far as I've gotten Battery isolation mounted on the shifter surround - looks close to the shifter but it's actually in third here. Another bracket - this one for the lift pump which is going under the boot floor. Reading Harry's thread (http://www.skylinesa...136-dr30-build/) reminded me I need to sort out the rear camber so I pulled out the rear subframe only to find this Steve May helped out with a new subframe which is off getting the standard bushes pressed out. Harry's mate Brae machined up these solid bushes for the new subframe (cheers mate!) - almost seems a shame to stick them under the car. Had some set backs fitting up all the adjustable front suspension gear so while I'm waiting for some replacement bits to be machined I got into one of the more enjoyable jobs - putting together braided lines.
  6. Near on perfect, great DR!
  7. Not sure how I missed this thread! Great build, I'll definitely be having a closer look come August at WTAC. If you have time it would be great if you could post more of the finer details (are they bbs e88's?!).
  8. My shitty bosch indies all tested within 1% of one another... then again I also trim based on individual cylinder egt which is where I'd be spending the difference.
  9. Brad - still waiting for the head I paid for on the 16th of September, 2011. Get your act together and deliver what was agreed or refund my money.
  10. Yes please. Program (guessing a beam element limited software), load cases/combinations, assessment criteria etc.
  11. Final few bit's and pieces have come back from the powdercoater. Also received another pile of parts from the guys at garage7 including some heat control items (gold film, heat wrap etc), carter lift pump, sway bar end links etc.
  12. Very clean! Just a headsup your mechanic won't like you after working on a t4 ts reared gt35, they're a tight fit!
  13. Looks mint Simon, I was wondering when p1's would make there way onto the car
  14. small price drop to $2200...feel free to PM any offers BTW: rotors have since been machined to suit 5x114.3 PCD
  15. Nothing has come through Brad.
  16. Hey Brad - any progress mate?????
  17. Well Brad Stacy did not disappoint, all the fab work is complete and to a very high standard. Just need to do all the fuel/vac/oil plumbing and then it's ready for wire and maybe one day the engine will get built (6months and counting waiting for the new head). Some pics of Brads work (http://www.bradstacyfabrication.com.au/) Harness bar added to the jap cage Surge tank & pump mounted in the spare tyre well New bracket for the remote filter better suited to the external pump location Remounted the thermos (got rid of the plastic clamps), mounted the accusump and added a bolt in radiator support bar with secondary bonnet restraint. Tow strap for when it breaks! Intercooler pipes with greddy type r bov plumbed back. The battery tray was also removed.
  18. In as new condition, comes with titanium backing plates and carbotech pads. directly interchangeable with f40s/f50s calipers and suit 332-355mm or thereabouts diameter rotors $1500
  19. So anyone who trusts you or your girlfriend to be honest about the condition of items they are selling is a muppet? I explicitly asked if there were any cracks, buckles or signs of repair on these wheels - I even had Jess remove the tyres so she could properly inspect them. She also sent me a copy of her drivers license, and I browsed through her posts on SAU - all of which led me to come to the incorrect conclusion I should be able to trust her. Oh and just so you can't continue to claim ignorance, cracks are bad. You don't need to be an Engineer to know that this is not safe, especially when one has just told you as much - I even wrote down exactly what was wrong with each wheel on the boxes so you would know which required repair. But still you continue to advertise these wheels on various forums in an attempt to dupe people into paying good money for wheels which are worthless unless a lot is spent on repairing them. Difficult to spot? Hardly.
  20. Nice one Greg, do you have something similar for coolant flow?
  21. Current PCD is 5x120 but i can have a 5x114.3 machined into them if required. Sorry no brackets. (Unless you have mitsubishi GTO or a Jaguar xk8 in which case i do have front brackets to siut f50 calipers but not the rotors above)
  22. I Have for sale the following items, pair of F50 style Brembo calipers (44/40mm pistons) pair of F360 Modena style Brembo calipers (30/28mm pistons) 2x 355x32mm cross drilled brembo rotors 2x 332x28mm cross drilled brembo rotors (180mm HB drum) All of the above are off a Aston Martin. The rotors have less then 0.3mm wear and the calipers are in good condition with plenty of life left on the brembo pads - fussy buyers however may want to consider repainting calipers. Would prefer to sell as a complete kit for $2300 however open to offers on individual items. Uploaded with ImageShack.us Uploaded with ImageShack.us
  23. You would need to see someone who specialises in flocking, I don't believe a motor trimmer would be able to help you. Refer here for a basic description of the process (basically apply glue to the dash, earth it and spray on the material (flock) using a negative charge). http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flocking_(texture) I was charged 150 but I'm told that's on the cheap side.
