Aussie Delivered R32 Gtr's
NISMO replied to BoyWhoCriedWolf's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
going off the pic of the rear end, and the reverse lights being up top, it looks like an Aus version to me. Obvioulsy this can be changed, but why would you?? That aside, looks a bit too modded from a collectors point of view. But then again, how many old muscle cars do you see which are "collectors" car, and barely an inch of it is original. At the moment the clean original GTR's are the collectable ones but down the track i think extremey well modded and well looked after cars will be just as sought after as the stockies. -
Agreed and Closed. The forums have a for sale section with specific rules. please use it.

+1 If it is genuinely "special" these guys offer a great service and look after them through storage as well.

Which Car Has A "slow Down" Warning On The Dash?
NISMO replied to N1GTR's topic in General Automotive Discussion
F40's are balls out nuts! But for pure sexyness, 599 takes it out for me easily. Balistic Fez models aside, 599 to me is prob one of the best the jumping horsy has ever produced. -
TNT are pretty good, depot to depot. Last car i bought from QLD, had the transporter booked from Brisbane to Sydney. Flew up, bought the car, got to Brisbane, rang the wifey and said see you tomorrow, I'm driving down If you know the car is up for it def drive. If your unsure tranport it, nothing worse than getting to know your new car through a major breakdown 6hrs into a 20hr drive

Os Giken Str2C Twin Plate Clutch - Rb25Det

Hey mate do you have the model number? -
Waddagame! So much for no size = no win. Gallen and Beau Scott hammered the QLD big boys into submission. And Pearce jnr made "third man in Thaiday" look like an amateur. Absolutely loved the look on his face when he realised he'd just been smashed for the 10th time by a little number 7

Agreed, stunning cars, sad that they're no longer that competetive.

+1 for an awesome race. I was about to throw the remote at the TV when the lap down Peugot was holding up the audi lap after lap, yet the marshals just let it slide. bloody Frenchy's Audi killed them in strategy. They made more pit stops, but spent less time in pitlane, and thats what won it for them.

From the website When the vehicle arrives in Australia, it must be driven directly to a weighbridge or safety check station for an inspection for registration purposes. On this journey it is exempt from registration, but must not stop anywhere or be taken home (except on a trailer). I would take this as you can only drive to the inspection station, and thats it. When i had my V35, i did risk it and drove from compliance to home. Actually was passed by highway patrol who checked out the car, but didn't stop me. Looking back now, at this stage the car is not insured to be driven on teh road as its not registered, so if anything happens you are sh!t out of luck. Doing it again, i would trailer the car until its registered. Purely for insurance purposes.

Aston Martin V12 Zagato Live Pics
NISMO replied to craig V8 taffe's topic in General Automotive Discussion
When it sounds like this, i wouldn't care if it looks likes a $2 hooker in the last 15mins of 3 day straight shift. -
Sorry to hear Nick. Pass on our best wishes mate that he pulls through ok.

Hiya, Looking for a complete stock 32 GTR boost solenoid, mounting bracket, hoses everything. Must be excellent condition. Not yeah mine is pretty good. Excellent anyone know if you can get them brand new?
-
I would kinda agree with this. I notice on mine, in a bit of traffic, at constant lowish rpm, and the engine gets quite worm, very quickly. However as soon as you pick the revs up, she cools down just as quick. I've driven with a non N1 water pump, and you can definitely notice the difference. Not using the car as a daily means i've got no concerns with it, as usually the only time i drive it is on weekends, and hardly ever anywhere near traffic.

Which Has More Potential In The Long Run?
NISMO replied to TurboDoseBro's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
I honestly think we may be talking too very different things. Firstly though, i doubt there would be any wing that can generate enough down force to sling shot a car out of a corner like and AWD system can. COuld be worng, but in that first video with the 800hp GTR, i really really doubt that no amount of aero would ever get that same result. Secondly re JGTC, these after F1, are one of the most developed cars on the planet. We're talking full carbon bodies, suspension set-up which is on par with F1, completely different body which only utilises the factory roof line etc etc. In other words something that 99.999% of people on this planet would never achieve wiht their own cars. The same can be said for the TA cars. Full carbon bodies, completely re-designed etc etc. If you look at what is achievable for the regular joe, such as those video's i posted, ie not a completely re-designed car, then i stand by the fact that the AWD is the better base. Its been proven time and time again. I really can't comment on the times you posted for the 2 tracks below, cause i have no idea how far one car is developed v the other. I'm just saying that take a 32 GTR and 32 GTSt, throw an RB26 in so both have the same powerplant, then do the same mods on both, brakes, aero, tyres etc etc, and almost always the AWD will have an advantage. -

GTSt's are great cars, no doubt about it, (i would love to be able to afford one as a track car) but if you're gonna talk modified GTSt, then talk modified GTR! Otherwise why are you comparing the two and the benefits of one drivetrain over the other. There's a reason why as far time attack goes GTR's have ALWAYS been chosen over GTSt's for outright honours. I could be wrong, but can't remember too many GTSt's winning time attack comps. Now if we're gonna talk well sorted modified GTR's, please find me some GTSt's that can do this Listen to the car through the corner to see just how early you can get on throttle in an awd car. Or this -
What requirements are you referring to for a driver training day? All our track days too date have been run as training days with less regs than these days. All have had full approval from all relevant bodies including our clubs insurance. Not really sure what you're referring to.

R32 Gtr 1992 Nismo Edition For Sale
NISMO replied to ben3232's topic in For Sale (Private Whole cars only)
Stunning car, and a good price! re the NISMO plate, what you might find is that NISMO would attach these plates when fitting certain parts in their workshops. I've seen them done for NISMO clutches and based on the plate above RS590 refers to the NISMO rear link set (suspension parts). No idea what MA is, but NISMO cars definitely had RA in the chassis code -

Wow $69k. Thats nuts! I love these, and although to me they look better than a Murano, how do you justify and extra $20k with no local support, non english menu's, nav probs etc etc. Oh, and thats $20k above a brand new Ti Murano.
