First time on it in the VW polo race, i had a 15sec lead by sector 1, using the hand controller. If anything this version has slightly less bumps than the GTR2 ones i have so can jump on it a little more through the corners without being scared the car will unsettle. Still massively dissapointed in GT5 from a gameplay perspective but now that I'm getting over that driving some of the cars is not so bad.

+1 for the burger-ring. I've done heaps of laps on the pc game GTR2 and was pretty surprised that you can approach alot of the corners in the same way. Definitely fave track so far.

a billion% agree. As i said i would have taken a lot less car wise and graphics wise, if it was actually an enjoyable "game" to play. Oh, and i think its arrogance.

yep, thats next on the list. Have a month off over Xmas I don't know, to me its not that its bad, its just that the entire concept/game play is exactly like the last one. Personally i would prefer shit graphics but a game that I'm so addicted too that i don't go to sleep, instead of this artsy piece of crap we got. I mean a photo section? FARK OFF, its a game. This game to me seems like it was purely made to stroke some clowns ego at polyphony cause he thought he could produce the prettiest cars in a game. Its not whinging if its true Oh and while I'm at it, what the fark is with that message each time you get a car, now you have black paint, now you have blue paint. We farken get it!! As if this thing didn't have enough screens to click through without garbage like that. GT5 is like when an actor kills it at the box office and then does one of those back alley semi ghey pron films to show how talented he his. Doesn't matter how you look at it, it still sux balls.

So far extremely farken disapointed is an understatement. Don't know what the fark they were doing for the last 3-5 years but it certainly wasn't making an interesting game. Each GT so far, I've sat down and literally have thought WOW. But this one has nothing! About the only thing i can honestly say I've thought, man this a big improvement on the last GT is the exhaust notes, thats it. The AI is something i would expect in mario bros game. AI drivers just tap you and your in a spin into the grass, yet they just circulate like nothings happened. You can be on the racing line and they just plough into you. Its like you need to get out of their way. It also has some crap catch up type thing built in. Just did too back to back races in the same car, Race 1 in second place was a fight to get the lead. Race 2 gave everyone 30secs start and caught the field in a lap. Not sure if i was epecting too much after playing PC sims like GTR2 but so this is absolute crap. Yeah graphics are great, and yeah nice selection of cars, but I'm close to board shitless after 1 day. Time to hand in my GT Fanboy badge. I buy the playstations purely for this game and well, looks like it'll be the last one i get.

Fark me, can we possibly have any more topics about the same crap, over and over again. Its simple, if you are eligable for an exemption you will get one. If not you won't. If you drive without one and get caught you may be fined If a cop wants to pull you over he/she will, by law they have that option. If you own an import they will pay more attention to you. Oh and if you have an exemption and you are hassled, who gives a fark, you have an exemption, abide by the rules of the expemtion and you are fine. if you're worried because you have "illegal" mods on the car, then get rid of the mods, or make sure its legal. It really is that farken simple!!!

The last N1 i saw had a few small mods, 120000k's, no books and was around $30k landed and complied. I've also seen several original very low km v-spec's and non v-specs sell for close to $40k in great condition so a very original N1 or NISMO would be upwards of that. But in all seriousness, you would have to find a pretty motivated buyer to get those prices. In saying all that, I've seen modded, un original, no books NISMO's sell for around $20k.

Why don't you actually look for a 350z intake pipe? Maybe wreckers or on 350Z sites where people have gone after market? When i had my V, i did this and picked up my "Z" tube for $30 delivered from WA to sydney.

There's 2 i think on here that i know of, i also know a couple in Canada, and 1 in the US. There would also be a fair few left in Japan guys (NISMO's and N1's). Being that there's not much info that comes out of Japan in English, its very hard to get accurate figures. But the cars just didn't dissapear off the face of the earth. Yes a number would have been lost on race tracks but i don't think they're as scarce as some believe. It just looks that way to us, cause so few make it Aus and other English speaking countries.

Its not the point though what happens usually or what happened last time an F1 car had a similar hit. Fact is, he had all 4 wheels attached to the car, until the thing is dead and burried and not moving, why would you not try and get back into it? We see drivers try and do a whole lap with a wheel missing and say, wow now that guy doesn't quit, what a champ, yet Webs gives the wall a love tap, and we expect him to give it up and move on to 2011? I say good on the guy. Yes he farked it by putting himself in that position in the first place, but the fact that he tried to get back into it shows just what it means to him. To suggest he took out another car on purpose hoping it was Homo or Alonso is ridiculous and nothing less. In a split second he's watching his season slip away and at the same time analysing who's around him to back the car onto the track in a position to take out other drivers which would give him a strategic advantage? Yeah.

I don't get why people are even entertainng Berger's theory. Stop trying to analyse every minute detail. Plain and simple, Webber hit the wall, and had all 4 tyres still attached to the car, at a time when he is going for a WDC. Someone please logically explain to me why he wouldn't try and keep driving or at least get it back to the pits to give himself a shot? Don't have the quote here, but wasn't much, around the $20 mark or something. The only thing they didn't have in the list of parts i asked for, was an original tape deck. Everything else i wanted (and these were all N1 parts i though i might need later on down the track to freshen up the car) were all still for sale. In some cases i had to wait for the next production run.

if you're prepared to pay I actually think Nissan do still make them. Was looking at doing some shopping recently and you'd be surprised at how many genuine parts Nissan still makes eg i can order the N1 button where regular 32 GTR's have the radio controls on the dash (N1 has no radio so button is blank )

Not a chance in hell, in fact every single one of them will know hit a bit of speed and the cops will back off. In a bad situation, cool, steal a car hit some speed and cops will back off. The fact that these farkwits (sorry idiots is too mild ) are running in the first place means they already ain't playing with a full deck. If the police backed off in chases, i bet the number of people resorting to high speeds to get away would treble.
