  1. Imagine being a NASCAR driver. You'd drive the long way around the block just to avoid having to turn left So I bought an Elise brand new 'tother day, then sold it without driving it, just to have the paint sample to use on my MP4-12C. Anyone else tragic like me?
  2. style
  3. oh yeah- the Bug's managed 429 clicks at La Sarthe
  4. accelerating very slowly- the bumps knock it around quite badly, and it's very twitchy with the d.f set to minimum. also realized the toe-angles were set to - and +1 front and rear standard, which may have scrubbed some speed. car makes less power now so there's no point trying again it's geared to do 507 (which you can't change), you should be able to get 490 or more if you cruise up behind a Le Mans car 3/4 of the way down the straight and get an aero tow
  5. I've seen just shy of 480km/h on the chicane-less Mulsanne straight in practice mode just after run-in (1557hp), with downforce set to minimum.
  6. Yes. Yes it is. Definitely a wheel'n'pedal machine. Also got 58.98 at Fuji
  7. Anyone else on here got an X1? If so, what's your best Tsukuba lap? My best so far is 29.6
  8. ah, just read AMERICAN championship
  9. sounds like a right laff for me to have a go of with the X1 when I get home
  10. ah yes but I can't remember how I got the Audi. I must have bought it and you're just not able to resell it
  11. .
  12. mystery gift car ticket(?)
  13. I used the Audi R8 race car to win that (thereby obtaining the all conquering, and now thouroughly beaten down [over 21,000 kays] Minolta 88C-V). Can't remember how I won that car in the first place, though.
  14. Now I'm going to have to run the Le Mans 24H 11 times to reach 40. Just for shits'n'giggles, I think I'll see how much power I can knock off the current 1557hp by not changing the oil in it until I get to the end of B-spec
  15. I did nothing but B-spec (from 0) for 2.5 weeks. Was made easier by having all my car collezione courtesy of lev.23 A-spec to race with. Could certainly be done quicker if you're around the PS3 all day to restart races in the pre-enduro levels. Anywho, the answer to the question posed last night is: 4 hours 9 minutes 54 seconds, at an average speed of 240km/h
  16. Level 35 now to see how quick the X2010 completes the Suzuka 1000 mmmwuhaha
  17. great thread. would def read again
  18. what does it matter if they show the colour scheme ahead of the actually '11 bodywork?
  19. I've got 2 at class 31, 1 at 32 and the top guy is 33. Now that I've reached the Tsukuba 9h enduro, I'm going to alternate putting one of the two newest guys (13 and 14 currently) in as part of the team for each race to improve them. Will see at 6pm tonight how far they progress in one swoop from their 1/4 share of 661,144 xp.
  20. We're back finally! Cracked B level 33 this morning; Only need to run the Tsukuba 9hr race 6 times now for my free X2010
  21. yup- that's why I retired the cool driver I got second and started again. He was rubbish at being left to it.
  22. hot-heads all the way baby I was winning the Roadster 4hr by 16 laps using a heavily modified car. the ones with maxtreme attitude are always keen to maintain their lead or overtake lap traffic. recognize
  23. what I've learned is when you get a chance to create a driver soon, keep hitting the 'new driver' button until they have as much attitude as possible: it makes them quicker in the long run (which is what you need for being able to start a race and come back hours later to a win)
