  1. Thanks mate! It's taken a long time, but we're there Cheers~ Congrats on your ride in the "Best of the Best" issue - gotta be happy with that! Thanks There's a build thread being written up here (http://forum.jdmstyletuning.com/showthread.php?t=19866) if you're keen. Feel free to sign up and comment / join in on the rest of the JDMST fun.
  2. Here's the latest shots (professional anyway) of mine... see more & read all about my build in the latest Performance Imports magazine (#114) Thanks for lookin' S
  3. Cheers mate - I'm very stoked with the way it came out!
  4. YAY my car made it into the DVD Thanks Andrew & Team! Great production, will continue buying...
  5. I'd like to see some before and after proof of the V-Cam system working (i.e. actually tuned correctly)... I'm in very close contact with the HKS tuner from Sydney and it's not just as simple as what you've put down.
  6. Got the DVD yesterday; short but sweet show & tell of "satanic" put a very big smile on my face. Thanks for the kind words, the time & the effort! And thanks to Terry for sending me the PM; I got the DVD the same day and let's just say it's made my birthday this year that little bit more special
  7. As title states, I'm in need of a ballast unit for my R34 (specifically Drivers Side, but it doesn't matter) If anyone's got a spare one lying around, do let me know. Or if anyone knows of an alternative, I'm all ears. Delivery will be to Sydney NSW 2000. Come on SAU, show me what you got!?!? Thanks in advance, Stan
  8. This may of interest to some of you; don't think I've posted this yet... Shows the following: 1) Power from final tune from RB25 2) Power from RB2630 run-in tune; 3rd last run to breaking flex plate 3) Power from RB2630 after new flex plate; one of the initial runs 4) Power from RB2630; one of the final runs before 390rwkw was reached.
  9. Slap a manual behind it and it'll be even higher, the numbers I think I read somewhere that after you get to a certain point, the drivetrain losses aren't as bad - even more so if you've done stuff to help the drivetrain out?
  10. Hehe - am I the benchmark now / still? I saw my name come up on the email reply so I came to have a look-see. Your RB30 - share some details It doesn't take much to beat my setup in terms of the RB30 itself, I must admit I didn't put too much fancy gear into it. I just re-registered my car for another year, and once I get back from Singapore in a few weeks, I'll be looking at upping the boost and getting a 2009 tune rolled out There should be another 200-300rwhp or so in it considering we're only up to 50% of the turbo's range...
  11. Without getting technical (because I'm not an engineer / mechanic), the bar just stabilized the rear through cornering, either at mid-range / high-range speeds. When the back gets loose, it's even more noticeable. Other suspension changes: TEIN coilovers Standard Front Strut Brace Cusco Rear Strut Brace Cusco Front Tension Brace JIC Adjustable Castor Rods BEE*R Pineapples HICAS Elimination Bar
  12. Ho ho ho... funny man right there! Sometimes it's best to find things out for yourself rather than go off the words of someone else.
  13. Nice... another RB2630 R34 in AUS You must have REALLY deep pockets!
  14. I've got the Cusco item in mine and I must say it did achieve something...
  15. Received the signed certificate today - thanks so much Terry!
  16. Subscribing! Cheers to everyone who voted as well! Nothing better than seeing / talking to a lot of admirers after a really long build!
  17. Great cruise, kudos to Terry and the rest of the organizers! Top effort indeed. Also good to meet some new people and see some of the rarer machines of NSW out on show. Finally, my car thanks the organizers for the longest trip it had done since the new motor was completed. Close to 300kms! Stan Winner of "Best R34 - Non GTR"
  18. Car is washed, inside and out - to the best of my concentration and strength anyways! Doesn't look too shabby but definitely won't be winning any Best Exterior prize! Anyone heading up from the North Shore or Northern Beaches? Missus and I wouldn't mind some buddies on the way to Penrith. We're planning a 8 to 815 departure to make the 930 meet. Have to take it easy, fuel will be an issue tomorrow!
  19. I like your enthusiasm - but please don't jump the gun and claim things will be on regardless; similarly sized SAU events have been postponed in the past before due to weather. LOL this reminds me of school days where you call a hotline on Saturday morning to see if your sporting matches were still on
  20. How early will you be able to make a call on whether the day is going ahead or not? I'd have to leave around 8am if I'm to make that 9:30am meet at Penrith.
