i cant remember the last time my heart thumped that hard........ 26 laps to go and i was nervous for the RBR boys. They all earned every dollar racing in those conditions.

regardless of what they look similar too, they drive like no wagon ive ever driven. As soon as i drove it i was in love with it. My missus saw the look on my face and new that we were buying this car. Funny, we went out looking at C34s, hoping to spend around $15000 on a good one, only to drive the M35 and spend $20k. shes going to kill me lol. the bloke who sold it to me new as well that as soon as i drove it it would be all over.

I Think im the biggest tool on here lol. I put a deposit on a M35ARX on saturday. Saturday night was cruising up to the drive in with a mate in his R33 and was trying to describe to him what it looked like, and at that moment we cruised up behind KNGM35. we were still 30 meters away or so and i said it looks a bit like that volvo up ahead. as we got closer i read the plate and then the Stagea badge, my mate was laughing saying that i didnt even no the difference. What a tool. I tell you this was one quick volvo we tried to follow.

yes, built a Z18 at the shop, stuff is interchangeable with other engines ie gaskets, but very hard to find. they are nothing special. Would be a candidate for a SR Conversion surely.

a little more progress on the fuel rail, trial fitted them again today, just need a little more off to fit perfect. The good thing is the bonett closes. Also fitted some steering stops as the 235s foul on the castor rod on lock, so these are adjusted to stop this.

yeh it does look clean, worst case it will cost me $150 to fly down to look at it, drive it back if its good or fly home again. Thanks for the help, was very usefull. Hope to have one at home soon. Didnt think i could talk the missus into one but she has been online all day looking for one. She even looked at importing one lol.

Hey guys, dont no much about Stageas, only what i learnt researching them on the net today. I understand the obvious differences, 4wd, 2wd, Rb25, Neo engine etc. Just not sure of some of the abreviated model codes. E.G RS4, RS4v etc, and the differences. dont you love public holidays. Got a bit done, fabricated strut brace end-plates, painted them and mounted the brace. Also port matched the intake manifold and bolted it down for good. Ill try to get a bit more done this week-end.
