  1. Loved it, too bad i didn't have Power Steering (all fixed now, wiring problem). I hate starting up my car. LOL!. Well hope you have another cruise soon....
  2. lol. excuse my eyes. but i read crutch smell. I was thinking Andrew doesnt wash there? Maybe it was the guy that was driving in front of you during the cruise? I know i smelt heaps of hydrocarbons on the cruise today.
  3. have you guys checked the wiring of the speed sensor on the ecu? maybe you have like an RSM or something similar hooked up and some how that wire is grounding itself to the chasis?
  4. fouled up plugs from running too rich which may give less spark thus making the engine hard to start?
  5. how about this? Its not exactly a black bonnet. *cough, black roof, cough cough*
  6. s14s and skylines are around the same price. LOL!....
  7. Does anyone know where the cold start switch/valve is located on the RB25det? Tried searching the forums and service manual. Thanks. Vincent.
  8. Sounds good Andrew, i might be in this time haha. Will let you know when the day comes closer.
  9. Get an evo.. lol... with that amount of money you can spend. An evo 6 is the way to go.
  10. yeah they are AVS, i think its called Model 6
  11. Atleast get a full exhaust done to make it free flowing. maybe you could put a fuel pump and get an AVCR When i got my car tuned by ovaboost with 3inch turbo back, SAFC, pod filter, 10psi i got around 220hp. Then with front mount, fuel pump, and EBC at 12psi i got 270hp
  12. I would modify as much as i can before i take my car for a tune. Maybe you could try ovaboost for tuning. i havnt been to them in ages for tuning. but i know they are good.
  13. Maybe your eninge is running too rich, and your spark plugs foul up? I know this happens to my car. Starts easy when cold. When warm, it takes quite a few cranks to start. Needs a tune maybe.
  14. Have you touched the settings on the SAFC, because the throttle position was working when i had it. I think you might have connected the grey wire (Throttle Position) on the wrong wire. I just checked my ecu. It is Red with Black Stripe for Throttle Position. My blue with yellow stripe is Engine Temp Sensor. Which is directly opposite the TPS wire.
  15. Apparently the White R34 GTR [DREAM] (not quite sure the exact plates are) crashed into an island or clipped a kurb. Was only told by a few friends. never went on the cruise.
  16. maybe its just a psychological thing.? lol
  17. Was awesome cruising with you guys up north. unfortunately my car was on the verge of overheating (110degrees) so took it slow towards Powis st then bailed towards Cedric St. Andrew, it was naughty of us to go over the speed limit slightly on leach highway. You have quite a fast car.
  18. I might pop down. Thanks for the PM Andrew, wouldn't have known. Cya there...
  19. so when braking does the steering wheel shake or does the pedal just pulsate? well if its steering wheel... front brakes/rotor. and pedal is rears... oh yeah reminds me. Sumies rolla does this really bad.. so if you see her inform her about it.
  20. That's good if they've fixed it, but if its a high pressure hose wouldn't that have popped off by now resulting with lose of fluid and a noisey pump at idle?. I recently replaced my one as it was slowly leaking power steering fluid all over my steering box/rack and driveway. Lost lots of p/s fluid, which when started up it made that loud grinding noise. But i just topped it up with the cap still off, i turned the steering wheel left to right full lock to bleed out the air.
  21. Im in, depending on what time and if my car survives till sunday lol.
  22. so roughly $100+ just to plug in the diagnostics tool... i wonder how much my company charges.....
  23. So $20 more then private. So how much is it all up? Pretty curious about it...
  24. I got at it with a ring spanner or ratchet spanners. Rear ones are tough to get to though.
