  3. hey mate, the NA block does not have the mounts for oil squirters so you can either run without them or get a RB25DET block which you can pick up cheap occasionally. As your head is coming off, you will need new head studs, so get some ARP items - do not reuse your old ones. since the head is already off, get oil restrictors installed and a head drain kit as we all know RBs have issues with returning oil from the head to the sump. Stock rods are fine but if you want a cheap upgrade then get GTR rods and fit ARP bolts to them. take your crank to a crank specialist and get them to check it out, it may or may not need to be polished depending on its condition. if u got the dosh, get a greddy plenum, makes the engine bay look so much better and the shorter piping means better response. as for the oil pumps; de and det both bolt up, but Nissan list different part #s for both motors so i assume they are different. why not fit a N1 item along with a crank collar to your crank for added peace of mind? collar $100 $200-$350 to fit & balance gl mate, post up a build thread

  8. lock diff is actually pretty good when going sideways or locking both wheels up, the only downfall is all the clunking noise it makes. its not so bad in the wet, ive never locked up or had any accidents/near accidents with it installed. if i was to do it again, id shim the diff up instead. do shimmed diffs make all the clunking noise as well ?

  13. ive read through this thread but dont see much info on oils for ppl with rebuilt motors. what would be best rating to use after the motor is run in? (RB25DET Neo) or it doesnt matter whether its built or standard?

  15. standard harness supplied is universal, you have to buy a seperate one if you want it model specific. gl

  18. yeah i got one from custom plenum creations. Will probably just get him to fit the IAC valve on.
  19. r33 IAC with a 34 custom plenum - looking to hear feedback from ppl who done this and was there any complications with tuning? in particular with a nistune. does the 33 iac plug straight in or will i require the connecting plugs also? reason i ask is because i have a feeling that trying to locate a gtt neo iac might be quite difficult. any help much appreciated. i'm dying to have my car back on the road asap as its been too long since i last drove it

Hey trent, cheers for the info. can you enlighten me more on remotely mounting it.. does this mean i have to block the rear of the valve with a plate and tap a feed to the top of the valve instead? ariel mentioned something about this and said to consult with my tuner but i'm finding it so hard to get in contact with unigroup to get some answers..
