  1. A model code alone won't give you a build date. You'll need to get the chassis number.
  2. The 2nd B in that model code indicates that it should be a V-Spec.
  3. Completely agree with Beer Baron about the power oversteer situation. I find the driving in this version much more enjoyable than in previous versions. I had an absolute blast doing the beginner AMG challenges around the Nurburgring in the old gullwing. Did anyone else get really frustrated by the Top Gear Kombi challenge?
  4. Exactly the same story here. RS260 in the garage that i haven't driven yet. That RX7 is just such a blast to drive!
  5. $500! Need these gone!
  6. Bump! Need these gone... reasonable offers not refused!
  7. This is a valid point that a lot of people seem to be missing in this thread when talking about the VVL in the SR20VE.
  8. I wonder how one of these 3071's would go on an RB20? Could it be a viable option or is just going to be lag city?

Well from the pics you can see turret, both rear fenders (looks like damage to both rear pillars), rear screen, headlining and rear spoiler. Those parts alone exceed $10k. Then there's any parts you can't see in the pics which i'm sure there would be. Add to that the cost of labour and you can start to see why it has been written off.
  10. 2nd VIN didn't work so i assume CKV36-401423?
  11. Ok guys I ended up hanging on to these but now they're up for sale again!
  12. Bump!
  13. FAST doesn't give you engine number info for a VIN number. I can only check engine numbers for Australian delivered cars at work. If there's a way to check engine numbers of imports i'd love to know but I haven't worked it out yet!
  14. Yeah that would have been my guess. Sounds expensive!
  15. Check out my attachment. It will help you understand how the model numbers work on the R32. The 8th character of the model number will determine if its a GTR (X) or a VSPEC (B) which nissan refer to as GTR.17 in FAST. It probably also tells you a whole heap of other things if you can read Japanese!
  16. The number you give me was the VIN. If you have a look in the attached pic about the middle of all the info where it says Prod.M/Y 9407 ... that = July 94 build date.
  17. I'm chasing 1x R32 coupe drivers door glass. Must be in good condition with no scratches. Thanks.
  18. Just appears to be regular GTR.
  19. Yeah it's pretty obvious that 24079 is a coil pack loom... but it's a bit trickier to tell the other two apart.
  20. Well it's a horrible diagram with horrible descriptions... but it looks like they probably ordered you a 24079-05U00. That leaves you with a 24077-05U20 Harness Assy-Engine or a 24079-05U01 Harness Assy-EGI Sub.
  21. That VIN works fine in latest version of FAST.
  22. Sorry its a bit small!
  23. I used a set of ARP studs when I did mine. They weren't badly priced at the time which helped the decision. I'm not sure if the factory bolts are torque to yield and need to replaced every time though.
  24. Even an NM or NP Pajero can be had for decent money these days and would handle the towing a bit better than the X-Trail. They're not as big as a patrol or cruiser but still a decent size. Petrol 3.5L ones are cheap as chips but the 3.2 diesel would be the better option.
