  3. apexi dont make map sensors, they resell denso map sensors, its the same part
  4. all your pfc questions are covered in the pfc faq in my sig it supports all sensors the stock GTR ecu supports, thats why its plug and play and doesnt need anything wired in etc direct swap for standard ECU tps supported, cold start supported, idle valve supported, air con supported, factory thermo fan supported, air temp supported on rb25, knock sensors support, map sensors supported on djetero version only, fault diagnostic's supported - ETC, SENSOR SW CHECK screen
  5. you might be maxing the 5v range of the afm's and if you are, you simply run out of load points it doesnt cap your power or make the car blow magic smoke to see if you max the afms monitor, 1 channel, airflow then press next, then press UP it show you to the score in MV press RIGHT to clear the top score then drive around and see what top score you get or better yet use map tracer and see what load cells its using monitor map tracer press up for ghost trace press right to clear previous trace if it runs along row 20 at max load youve run out of load points you can rescale it using the afm ramp (any tuner can do this) but if you max 5v, you max 5v and nothing can stop that other than bigger AFMs powerfc faq has all this info
  6. one thing to remember is that the attessa 4wd system in the GTR/GTS4 only works when you loose traction that is the fronts do nothing until the rears slip so if you dont flog it, the rears wont slip, and the fronts wont take any power, so its basically rwd

  8. a road tune requires a wideband 02 sensor and a competent tuner or a competent fiddler its probably better off being done with a proper tune if you plan on doing tuning yourself on your car buy a wideband 02 sensor and install it permenantly then you can do it yourself

  10. This GTR is pretty much stock and unmolested with cheap add ons and modifications alot of skyline GTR's seem to have Reg Plate K33P UP cool man, good way to waste $350 since when is a stock 34R insanely quick ????? keep up mad

  16. in summary, you can be defected for any modification (removal, addition, change) to the intake / turbocharger system regardless of what or why its simply a matter of if the relevant authority notices the modification (removal, addition or change)

  20. ive checked the rb25 diagnostics book and there is no mention of RPM failsafe mode of 6000rpm when speed sensor is not connected

  22. dont forget there are two sensors one is the idiot light one is the guage does the idiot light come on when the guage goes spazzo? (this means the water is actually that hot and the ECU will start cutting timing) does the guage come on and idiot light stays off? (this means the gauge sender is spazzo)
  23. as the others have said, why fiddle if you dont need to? on this main screen there are two key settings one is the afm bending range per voltage range the values are 0 to 100 and are % correctional these values remain the same regardless what AFM you select from the pre-set table this allows the tuner to quickly and easily shift the load axis that is used without editing every single ING and INJ value on the map so basically you can quickly and easily tune the whole car without editing tons of cells over and over most tunes simply do this and its all good selecting a specific AFM loads the corresponding AFM ramp table at the bottom (the 5 rows of numbers from 01 to 20) this is the raw values for each AFM preset. dont fiddle with these unless you know what you are doing and are trying to address a specific issue with that specific AFM and a certain load point adjusting the afm bend to all 100%'s will throw your tune out leave them as is
  24. try unplugging the boost sensor and blocking the vac line to it that will alleviate the stock ecu doing its boost protection
  25. the service manual says hr32 spring should open around 12psi so thats what i was going off should be easy to unplug vac line to HR34 boost sensor, plug up the vac line and let the sensor read atmosphere pressure this should confirm quickly and see if you avoid the rich and retard from too much boost
