My Pride And Joy Gone...........................sold
donutdavid replied to donutdavid's topic in New South Wales
It was sad to see my 2 hot plates drive away last friday into dark, but let me tell you James this bloke from central coast is serius dude and he is goin to send me the pics and I'll go to see the car run. Also I can understand why he went for Skyline given the aftermarket and spares support not to mention the price easy choice. All you racers out there (the real ones) you know how much fun this is I can only wish but at least my ex car will be there. You tell them Duncan. -
Yes my baby is sold on car sales after only 2 weeks. Sold to good home as the bloke who bought the car is goin to spend about 20 grand to make it a tarmac car and he is goin to enter Targa Tassy this year. how mad would that be can you imagine? If you were at last christmas cruise may R32 gtst was black with gold rims and gold stripe on the side. However the fun begins now as I'm in the market for GTRRRR, any sugestion to which one 32, 33 or 34 or which one will give me less trouble??? breakdowns etc...better value for money? Cheers dave

Car Stolen In Miranda Carpark Again- Black Skyline R34 Gtt
donutdavid replied to Silver-Darkside's topic in New South Wales
i don't know people but I'm not convinced with this dude that his car is stolen. He is not making a lot of sense at all given what has happen, as far as I'm cocerned he could just be someone that's checking things out for the reason??? Does anyone know this guy does he have any photos or where did he purchase the car from? I don't know, all I know TRUST NOBODY it's dog eat dog out there these days with our law lack of police/security doing something about this. please note this is just my personal opinion. Dave -
Anyone Go To The A1 Gp At The Creek During The Weekend
donutdavid replied to ~ Jay ~'s topic in New South Wales
I was there with mate of mine only after we were done at the go kart track (his son races in the midget class) His mate gave us free pit passes with Netherlands team. It was good shame about the rain. You got the love the rich boys toys GT cars love the DB9. We even had a car pass and we parked the "Tune express" van amongst the Ferraris. Great day -
Sorry guys but I think Beer Baron has a point that these young thieves did not have to die even they stole the car. However even I do hate the thieves with pasion but I do think that this is a tragedy and they would learn more sitting behind bars having to think about it for few years and just maybe learn that crime does not pay in the long run. Also it doesn't sound good posting that they deserve to die even if you think that, just chill down my friends. My 2 cents worth Dave

Where To Get Vinyls / Stickers Applied Professionally
donutdavid replied to Fujiwara's topic in New South Wales
I'm getting some vinyl made by VisualVinyl. Just call Robbie 0408 676 911. Dave -
Mate, Ill remind you that some comments made here are read by anybody. (I think these are your words) As for the answer just maybe you would think that's something wrong with doing a burnout on residental street when screaching tyre noise (v8 ute) wakes you up and smoke fills my house at 1am o and my 2 kids get out of bed to ask and wonder whats wrong? I just say another idiot has nothing better to do while trying to get his number plate in order to report the kocksmoker. As for the laws that's just politicians way of fixing things in order to satisfy public outcry nothing else, However some honest drivers like most people on this forum will get caught in the middle of it. Someone already has posted that feeling is I'm worried about just driving a skyline. dave

How you going mate, I' m pretty sure from what you said that you might have a faulty or bad coil pack. Not sure if have changed them, but what I did I've just changed all six of them and also put new spark plugs as well. Just Jap sells their brand JJR coilpack $399 per set. Once I did that she ran so smooth I couldn't beleive. Hope this helps Cheers Dave

Has anyone herd any more details or did someone from here got Jacked? This morning on 2UE it said that 94 Skyline has been followed by Merc into Shopping center carpark (didn't hear which one) around 9pm last night with constantly beeping and flashing lights behind him and when the men came out to approach the car the three man came out and knocked the poor bloke out and took the Skyline which is still missing! They did mention the plates as well but could only rememmber **W-***. This is totally getting out of hand people please beware out there. Sorry I dont have more details. Dave

Shockabsorber 101
donutdavid replied to Sydneykid's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
Hey Sydney Kid, Need some advise/quote on new shocks upgrade for R32 gtst as mine are really tired ('89 model). Also would you suggest anything else that should be upgraded eg.swaybars to improve ride comfort as I don't like coil overs being way to stiff for street. Please note that I don't have heaps money. I had a quote for KYB's for arround 11 hundred fitted and alligned. Any input greatly appreciated. Cheers Dave -
Yes it sounds simple, but if happens twice or three times the payout from insurer will get harder to get and who would want to insure you after that anyway? I think the point of shopping center carparks just stay away or use other car when going there you have to take some care where you park plus it's not that simple when you get attached to some hard work and mods being done to the car. My 2 cents worth dave

I'm in if there is no rain as I don't like it when it rains on my baby. Dave black R32 gtst See ya there

What's the matter with you boys you jump to argue just like year 7 school boys about who's got bigger pecker ccc...! :laughing-smiley-014: The new guy just wanted some simple mods advise to get started and still be safe and legal. All you doing is confusing the bloke and he most likely doesn't understand your jargon. Dave
