    M35 Info

The oil info that everyone posted is very usefull but its still individuals decision based on what you read and how much you want to spend and more importantly how the car feels after the oil change, but please lets not get caried away trying to prove who is right and who wrong. Anyway, can some one tell me if there is a way of adjusting drivers electric seat as it rocks a bit every time I come to stop and its sort of anoying Also what does little button near auto shifter do sinchro/snow and should I use it or keep an eye so its always off?? Cheers Dave

    M35 Info

Thanks for clearing that up Scotty it all makes sense now. Do you think that nissans 7-30w oil is good choice, whats everyone else using? I know 300v is best which I use in gtr but 90 for 4 lt is a bit rough for frequent oil change. nissan is 55 bucks for 5 lt. Cheers Dave

    M35 Info

I'm sorry but let me at least change these stock rims to something like matt black 18-19inch (do let me know your thoughts) Apart from that it's got lowered suspension (nismo)leather interior and little flat spoiler at the rear. Also if anyone is looking for cheap stock rims with new tyres let me know. Oh yea I will enjoy that it feels so nice smooth but heaps of go when you need it, just great and practical car I cant fault it. The only thing i need now is spare key, cd english conversion and tv? M35 Info

Hey boys and girls After few months of procrastination I'm the new proud owner of black m35. This the one from Northshore Prestige with few nismo bits on it already which will save me few $$$. I can only say that process of buying from Ben was best ever and i can highly recomend them to anyone out there looking for quality car and dealing with decent and educated salesperson like Ben and his crew who always had time and patience and are also very competitive. Most imoprtantly I've purchased high quality vehicle with extras and I'm loving it. This will be nice a adition to my 32 gtr which gets driven on sunny weekends only. Also I've been reading this section for few days now and you guys are much better in sharing info then skyline forum. See ya around Dave
  7. Hey nice going Marko almost all gone! People know when theres a good part at bargain price. Wish I got on this tread much earlier. Good luck with seling the rest David
  8. By the sounds of this "enthusiast" I don't think is in the market for a car at all. He is some high school kid just starting a topic LOL. Most kids even younger like my son (10) and his mates know a lot more about any import then you would think but this guy only has some general stuff. Get of this horse and keep dreaming
  9. Hey all, BIG Thank you to organisers and all people that turned up on a grey day like today.I've just woke up as I was nackered after the long day. Me and my son and nephew had a great day and it's just amazing how much time effort and not to mention $$$ has gone into some of these cars well done! Also it shows how great and responsible this club really is given everyones behavior on the road as Duncan said before the start "NO D*** H**D Behavior" Well done and lets do it again soon. question: Is there Christmas cruise this year? Cheers Dave
  10. Hey mate sorry abot late reply that was me thanks for spoting. I saw your tough beast with nice intercooler very nice! I was on my way to doctors and to get some cobwebs out of my pipe. See ya around are you local? Dave
  11. Hey mate, just wondering why did you pull this engine out if it was runnin fine? Oh and please post some pics of the engine I'm intested but just want to make sure its runing ok?? Cheers Dave
  12. Man, I've read the whole thread from start to finish without blinking. I must say I couldn't pick you as wog at all as you do write very much gooder in English. I'm proud of you man as I'm the wog as well and I can't write like that. Things I've noticed you are very precise and direct in your points and express yourself very well, just maybe you should represent yourself (think abot it), I think you can make them look like foolls and they want know what hit them, or maybe you should do a U turn and study law. Anyway, I do feel for you and yes there should be some liniance (shit I cant spell) for normal citizens like you who are not repeat offenders and have reasonable driving record. What I'm saying the whole person profile should be considered. Good luck and I hope you get reduced fine at the end. Please keep us posted don't get mad my money is on you. Dave (this my adopted name)
  13. I don't mean much over half way at the first glance its spon on but when you look closer just a tad over and it stays there, I think the good sign is "stable" temp and not rising. I'm still amused how things never stop going wrong with gtr, but it all goes away once you take it for drive. Dave
  14. Thanks for your reply mate I think your right. Anyway took it for a drive around block tonight and the water remp is sitting around just above the half way mark and oil temp is showing 90 degrees. seems fine for now, I'll post back with new coolant. Dave
  15. Hi all, Just wondering if anyone has seen this before. My original radiator top tank gave way so I went and bought a/market alloy one and installed it. Also added new "nissan" coolant with destilled water of course all good started and worked well (weekend). However today just went under to check for leaks etc. opened the cap to see if need any top up I've noticed strange black spots floating in my new radiator. Tested with clean white rag and it appears to be oil black dots in my coolant??? Should I be concerned? Should I replace the coolant again??? Need your thoughts please. Cheers Dave
  16. Hey man, Speaking of "I wouldn't use anyone else" for me is only one person Robert from TUNE EXPRESS (his own company). He is mate of mine but bit like Dentist he only gets the pleasure of operating on my gtr he did many PPI inspections for people on this forum and recently he did one for the guy in Adelaide 3 cars (R35) untill he settled with one. Also he is mobile and much cheaper then all of the above, All you need to say is that your from SAU and recomended by me. He does give detail insight, his personal oppinion including hi res pics, However purchase decision is still yours. Good luck, Hope you find the right car and its always wise to pay 100 odd bucks before handing over the green ones. Cheers Dave
  17. I was always coming to this one (the only one I go to) like every year. Hopefully my new radiator will be installed in the next few days. Just wondering is this skylines only cruise or any car cruise??? Dave
  18. Hey people, I was @ the race watching the whole thing as I went to help my mate (his son Stefan finished second in the rookie class as this was NSW title race) This kid Ryan 11yo, from QLD the latest according to my mate he is going to make it fine, However still more tests to be done. It did look bad as he was coming down the straight missed a turn clipped the cone and kart fliped to left side when he made an impact with a conrete wall at end of the grass hill and they red flegged the race immidiately. All the boys were taking the accident really bad as they made friends during this 5 day meet, My mate son was crying when he herd what happen. He 's now buying top of the range helmet/neck brace as well. I was there to see you all and I must say all the cars looked and sounded great and some of you are real dare devils taking that left hander after straight. My boy loved Duncans car and other yellow 32gtr awsome machine. I was going to bring my baby as well but radiator top tank intake snapped of last saturday so getting new alloy one this weekend. See you next track day!!! Dave
  19. Thanks mate you're spot on with part number, I did find out the info on platinum but no ref to iridium, However good people at Just Jap Kirawee had them only recomended for RB service which made it easier. The reason I went with iridium is I don't wont to replace plugs every service given that car is running std boost and will remain same and also set of iridiums was cheaper from JJ then set of platinums from elsewhere. Big service next weekend along with 300v chrono, filters brake/clutch fluid (motul), and Nissan coolant as well. Can't wait to take it out for a drive after all that. Dave
  20. Hi all, Can someone post up part number for NGK type iridum spark plug for R32 GTR/RB26 engine? I've tried serchin but no ref to P/N. Cheers Dave
  21. hey man, I'm after a both window seal rubbers complete if in a good nic? How much? Cheers Dave
  22. I disagree with first part of your post and it's not picking on young blokes the simple reason is we're not mature enough at 16 hence 18 is when we all become adults even that some kids develop much earlier, Also whole of Europe is set with 18 years of age and most of the world. However, I totally agree with your last bit our driver training is shambles. The solution would be to increase to 18 and have structured driver training/ testing. Even then you can't eliminate idiotic drivers taking it to the limit as being an idiot is a choice some of us make!
  23. I can only recomend one person and one person only it's good mate of mine Robert from "TUNE EXPRESS" (0414 23 66 99) his own company and he is mobile and very competitive rates but that's not the main reason this guy you trust and take my word for it as I would not let anyone else touch my car. Thanks to him my gtr runs like it's just come out from Nissan Japan. This guy knows his stuff he also did work for couple of different teams in Bathurst. Hey good luck with your Purchase. Dave
  24. I agree 100% with that. However I don't think they're retards at all. I believe they get good dollars for what they write up about and I assume Nissan didn't pay anything as car speaks for itself! It's always about the money! Dave
