  1. It should all be in spec if the carnk doesn't need grinding.
  2. Personally i would price a new loom from nissan, or a newer loom, and fit a nistune board to the stock ecu($250 fitted). Will dirve better than a microtech, as its a modified stock ecu, and uses an AFM. As for cold start not being an issue in Darwin, the motor is still cold when you start it.
  3. Never had an issue with one. Only bad installations.
  4. The problem is that you need to switch the additional injectors on and have the ecu tune change at exactly the same time every time, otherwise you end up with a lean hole or rich spot, neither which is good for the driving pleasure or engine longevity.
  5. And heater hose will quickly break down with oil
  6. Being that the air you are tryong to cool is already at the front of the car, a water-air intercooler is an unnecessary complication. Did you know that an easy (and cheap) upgrade is an r34 gt-t sidemount intercooler. It fits in the standard r33 spot, and is good for +200rwkw
  7. There is a dot on one of the teeth to setup the timing. that should face out.
  8. Is that your car, as it certainly doesn't look like angle cut bends, seeing as the weld is about 20cm from the bend
  9. But the important question, how does it taste?
  10. Except the cooler outside air has to go through the hot Intercooler, A/C condenser, Radiator first
  11. Harris did a port job for me(different motor), and i thought it looked great, at a very good rate, with fast turn around.
  12. Can you compare your settings in the PFC in the cruise region from the E85 map (ultra lean) and the ULP map, should shed some light on the possible fuel economy.
  13. It would be interesting to do a gearbox destruction test, line up a whole lot of "supercars" and launch them 30 times on a grippy track. Im willing to bet most of them would sustain some damage in one way or another.
  14. Why a posche when a bluebird has soo much more class
  15. I ask if you are seroius because if you dont know the answer to your own question, then there is no way you should consider tuning your own car. Will the next question be what is ignition advance?
  16. ^^^Have you remapped an ecu?
  17. Are you serious?
  18. There are two injector wires that need to be swapped over from the rb20 and rb25 ecu's. Do r32 rb20 and r33 rb25det injectors have the same impedence?
  19. But why some people say that d-jetro still needs an maf connected?!? Because they are idiots, if you are after the other extras, and with your intended use of the car, i would fit a vipec(i didn't reaslise they were available in europe yet) or SM4
  20. Great to see once again someone willing to be a guinea pig and stick your neck out.
  21. D-jetro should be fine for your setup.
  22. There is no need to remove the diff cover to get the driveshaft out, just pry it out from the outside.
  23. I would definately get one with a spring centre, far more streetable than a solid centre
