There is always one scumbag copper. I got pulled over like that once and also got accused of speeding and doing skids. Little did he know I was on my way to play soccer with the rest of his station. My local police know my car and know me, and pretty much told me this bloke was a clown. That was the last I heard of him. The same bloke booked my best mate for doing a skid at the local shops 1 month after he allegedly commited the offence. Good times, good times.

I hit a decent pot hole on the way to work once with my front left wheel. Rooted the inside of the tyre in a week so I got an alignment with new tyres - turns out it was 13mm out on that one rim!

I made 230rwkw at 15psi with mine. Has internal wastegate and is on the standard exhaust manifold. The only thing I did to the manifold was port it out a bit and remove some casting marks and stuff. Other usual mods - Power FC, front mount cooler. Still on stock AFM and injectors. I see full boost at 3300rpm and part throttle driving is good too. Pulls really good too even in 5th. Pretty sure I have the .63 exhaust housing. Got if from GCG cos thats what they recommended.

Lucky I live in Queensland. A lot of us are going to get shafted out of this. This sort of action might get some people off the streets but its also going to provoke a lot of people to run from the cops. Running from the cops = high speed chase = people dying. Yay

I've got a GT3071 from GCG. Its got an internal gated r33 rear housing that has been ground out. It pumps 15psi by 3300rpm and it made 230rwkw on the dyno. I was hoping to hit the 250rwkw someday. So from what I have read, a set of cams will get the turbo spooling earlier and maybe get me to 250kws?

20k should get you all that no sweat. I don't know how much boost you can run on stock pistons but. Anybody know? I run 15psi and would like to run 20.

Well I installed my catch can for 2 reasons. Firstly I have an aftermarket turbo, which I run more boost than standard, and a custom intake which I have not plumbed the cam cover breathers into because - I have seen that from time to time for a variety of reasons my engine has had a bit of "blow by" and as a result vapourised oil from the crank case has passed into the intake and turbo and collected in my intercooler and some has gone back into the engine. Over a period of time the oil will eventually build up in the intercooler and you will have to pull it off to drain it and also there will bit an amount of performance loss etc. The catch can collects this vapourised oil instead of it being deposited into the intercooler etc. There are a few threads on how to hook them up on here too. Definitely grab the reverse drill bit and give it a go as I had a broken studs on a few types of heads and in most cases the drill will bite at some point and wind the sucker strait out. Then again I never had an easy out broken off in there either. Take it easy and be carfull with that alloy!!! Good luck

Does anyone have any numbers on how much power they gained because of adding a few degrees of timing? The reason I'm asking is that I have my car tuned for 98 octane and had to pull some timing out of my map as where I live I only have 95 available. I'm interested in how much a difference in rwkw this would actually make.

I've got a GT3071. Pumps 15psi and over 230kw atw by 3200rpm. Stock injectors and air flow meter. Turbo cost $1500 plus oil\water lines and intake mods. All up cost $2000. Is sweet, loves to peel the rubber off by 10 psi

I had the same stalling dramas after I got my PFC tuned. Only way the tuner could fix it was by moving the AFM further away from the turbo. I have a GT30 and the amount of air that was going back and forth from flutter was freaking out my AFM. Hasn't idly hunted or stalled for ages at the lights.
