  9. yep
  10. not sure exactly of internals, but i have been told that it has steel wheels and the compressor housing had to be machined to fit the new wheel in.
  11. how much should i sell my high floed R32 rb20det turbo for?? a mate wants to buy it, but i dont wanna get ripped off and i dont want to rip him off...

  16. when i got work done at bris tuning it was $55/hour plus a one off dyno fee of $50. that was for an aftermarket computer i had another quote for $360 which was for 3 hours on the dyno with stock computer.
  17. 87VLT how much do you want to spend on an RB20det and 5spd? i would like to build and RB30det, which would require me to sell my current setup....
  18. so how is the dump pipe boxhead? and did the car come with a cat back exhaust or something ?
  19. both ways will use very similar lengths of pipe, its just the air flow direction i dont care if i wasted my time.. it works and i am happy i reckon you picture the way you want your piping, a front facing plenum would be ideal.. but is it worth forking out the cash now to save $50 on piping or do you be happy with routing it back like everyone else. either way it WILL work, and in a silvia.. it WILL be quick
  20. very good case lowlux i hope there si going to be some explanations in this word document.. i have read too much different info like whether to use the NA head, or the turbo head, what valve sprngs to use, what cams to use, what rods and pistons to use, what crank to use... etc
  21. yeh i have mild steel going to get it HPC coated all the way when i have a spare week when i dont need my car.
  22. i shoot flames...
  23. have u played dump pipes yet boxhead?
  24. bingo... we have a weiner yeah tho your colors are around the wrong way are you going to use a new pipe to the throttlebody or re-use the factory cross over pipe?... i am using 2 1/4 piping front turbo, flares up to 3" intercooler inlet exits at 3", tapers down to 2 1/4, joins a step up pipe that is 2.5" then joins the factory cross over pipe. i dont know any real pro's or con's of my method, but it was suggestted by 2 workshops and my brain... and it works fine for me. Having said that.. after going flat out for a while, parking the car.. the pipes heat soak abit, but within 40seconds of driving inlet temps are back to 23-25deg
  25. stock market shmock market my old boy does all that graphing and stuff... quite impressive to see a wall of an office dominated by a massive gannt chart or however u spell it. but i'm not into it unless i know something is gonna be worth while. after reading performance forums it seems running a porn site is profitable... like $1k/day
