  1. Its always best to run the biggest spark gap possible. Try 1.1mm bkr7es11. The reason we run a colder plug with higher powered engines is for safety. More power means more heat and if the combustion temps start to make the spark plus glow ( which happens) than the glowing plug can ignite the fuel/air mixture before the spark plug is ready to fire. This is called pre ignition. Which will kill ur motor within seconds. Imagine the piston trying to travel up the bore and the flame burning above it trying to push it back down. = not good
  2. I agree word for word.
  3. I tuned it at 11.5 afr. I never set the base pressure myself so i can answer that one sorry. Inj hit 105%
  4. I have tuned a gtr 312kw stock injectors but a fuel reg. 250 kw is nothing for stock inj. Just get a fuel pump
  5. Not yet. Still just 1 disc and hat. Let us know whats in ur 2 boxes
  6. maybe u got 2 boxes, 1 disc in each lol
  7. have a search on the forums, there is a alot of good information on here.
  8. Woops i meant 1 rotor and 1 disc hat. Thats it
  9. WOOHOOO, i recieved 1 brake caliper and hat. i guess thats a start for now
  10. Very likely. But if u have fixed the catchcan. Then u might be lucky and it might just be left over oil in the exhaust
  11. Ahh so u have a gtr cooler on ur gtst? With custom 2.5inch piping?
  12. N1 turbos and 18psi should see 270+ kw. With a full tune
  13. Try cleaning them with contact cleaner. What ecu is it running? Maybe u should get a retune. Especially since u have changed fuel presaure
  14. Thats crazy.
  15. So it starts with start ya bastard? That tells me there is a fuel supply issue
  16. Disconnect battery? Disconnect the light itself?
  17. When i say factory i mean whatever the idle timing was tuned too. This cannot be changed. The ecu has no way to know what the Base engine timing is.
  18. get a profec b, cheap and easy to install and tune. you shouldnt need individual plotting points, what turbo and actuator are you running? what are you power goals and at what boost?
  19. The consult data shouldn't move, this is the ecu tuned idle timing, because the timing in the ecu can't be adjusted you need to set the engine timing to exactly what the ecu timing shows. the reason for this is the engine has been tuned from factory with the engine timing at 20 (at idle) so as the rpm increases and load increases the ecu reads off its factory tuned map. but if the timing is not set to the factory engine timing then the motor ecu will be running too much or too little timing depending which way the timing is set (advanced or retarded). -if its retarded then the engine performance will be low -if its advanced there is a chance the engine may ping or detonate causing engine failure.
  20. Just baby it around till all that 86 is gone. Hopefully it didnt ping for too long under high load. Hard to tell over the internet if any damage was done. But just hope for the best the guess.
  21. Partially blocked BOV? Please explain?
  22. The consult timing cant be changed U need to set the engine timing with a timing light to match the consult.
  23. 3posts up. The pic of the stock vs n1 gears. No wonder the n1 outer gear keeps breaking. There is not enough meat on it.
  24. Try replacing fuel pump. Or atleast make sure ur tuner has a fuel pump instock. So if it is the problem when he starts tuning he can replace it.
